Belated Congratulations Ruby. I met you backstage at The Chevrolet Center in Youngstown, Ohio when we were inducted into The Vocal Group Hall Of Fame. You were very warm and friendly. As we walked together I felt like you were an old friend. Meeting you and talking to you made me feel very special. Stay Well. Tom Bialoglow Founding Member of The "Original" Duprees.

May God bless this wonderful lady.
Good stuff.....congrats!
Beautiful I hope some monetary awards were included. She probably didn't make a penny off this masterpiece. Or not much.
Edward Roberts was my brother so many memories. Especially sitting on our basement steps listening to the group rehearse before RUBY had joined I was still in school and sometimes we would dance and make up songs I was his baby sister always music in our home So missed

Wow, what an emotional tribute to Ruby and the group.❤ I was singing that song profesionallly at 13.
I went to Central High with Ruby. Ruby was the sweetest girl and so shy. No idea she could sing. Edward and I were in classes together. I am so proud of them.

Oh yes indeed . In the 70s hardly a Sunday went by when this song was not played . It was a staple on the Sunday afternoon playlist for both radio stations . I used to travel a lot in that part of Ohio up until 2017 and rode up the I-77 on numerous occasions . Such a pity I never knew then that Ruby was alive and well in Akron , the home of champions .
My family immigrated from Germany to Akron...they lived on Newton street.
Congatulations Ruby Nash for receiving this award! You played a part in music history and we are so honored and grateful to you and the'' Romantics'' for doing so! We love your music to this very day! God bless you!July 23, 2017!
God Bless this humble, talented lady. Well deserved recognition. I was 17 living in Cleveland, OH when this song came out. This beautiful song, performed by Ruby still gives me goosebumps! Love you Ruby! I saw lots of amazing Motown performers at Leo's Casino in Cleveland.
I was a teenager in the 80’s in warren, Ohio and I love this song. Congratulations and many blessings.
Ruby and romantics. Are icons status these are some of the artists that started it all for the young singers and rappers of today.
At 41:00, Jasmine Moore, the 8th grader sings Our Day Will Come with Ruby tearing up. One imagines Ruby flooded with memories of her success and that of the Romantics.

Wonderful!
Watching this in 2018. My parents always played “Our Day Will Come” on the radio all the time.
Thanks Mrs. Ruby Nash, congratulations to you.
If there was one singer who should get into the Rock and Roll Hall of fame based on a single hit it would have to be Ruby Nash & the Romantics. This song will be played forever!
Here's hoping they will do the honors and give the city of Akron a special tribute with the song Our Day Will Come and Mrs. Ruby Nash Garnett will be able to get yet another honor to celebrate the songs 60th
So loved and remembered this great song from 1963 as a 2nd grader in elementary school hearing it on local AM radio and its nice to see Ms Nash get her accolades for her and her fellow Romantics for the songs we were blessed to hear in those days of innocence.
