I just learned an interesting fact about this movie: it has one of the shortest average shot lengths of any modern narrative production at 1.8 seconds. This means there is a cut almost every 2 seconds. I never noticed that when I first watched it.

More like through humanity's sin and perversion and straying away from God so many doors were open for these spirits to come in that were pass a point of no return. Society will get more and more possessed, there's a invasion happening and no one knows cuz Hollywood brainwashed people to think the aliens will come from the sky. Well there not extraterritorials, there inter dimensional entities that enter our world through sin and evil. That's why governments do everything they can to discredit the bibles authenticity.

Dark City came out in 1998… But, Blade also came out in 1998 and that movie has a somewhat similar concept, it’s still the idea of living in a world you don’t realize you’re living in. Living in a world populated by vampires who are controlling every fabric of society from behind the scenes.

Rufus Sewell's usually played the Big Bad, as in Man in the High Castle, A Knight's Tale, and The Illusionist. It's good to see him doing the sympathetic protagonist so well -- and yet, even here, we spend much of the movie not knowing whether he's a murderer (& I'm not telling, bcs he doesn't know either).

But honestly this film is one of the most underrated masterpieces ever made. This is in my(!!!) humble opinion, almost better than The Matrix. Maybe it's on one level with that. That's probably a little better but not much! And that shows that what a great and overloomed film this is. Comparing it to one of the best sci-fi films aand films ever made, and that wins just by a bit? Instant classic. And not. But how?? This is really in the top 20 films ever. Meh, brilliant in every aspect.

In the movie 🍿 Dark City🍿 The Strangers could manipulate reelity, AT LEAST WHEN THEY WERE IN A HUMAN BODY🤯 Perhaps when they were changing the Reelity itself -Aka- the Dark City. Perhaps what was truly molding the City was the memories of the people being changed. What the people "knew" to be possible in their minds is what changed their surroundings. 🙏 Now, consider things like the Mandella Effect, the jet plane fuel paradox, how the twin towers vaporized into dust etc etc We have a very long list now of unexplainable/unfathomable/indefinable things in this reelity. Perhaps the most unexplainable thing here is you 🤔 Food for thought
