Technically, the Alpha class (the highest on Furya before it was destroyed) had shined eyes. Riddick got his when he was in prison at Butcher Bay in exchange for 20 menthol cools. It's in the video game, but your answer was almost right. Just wanting to teach others correctly and spread the word about Riddick.

Moving your arms too far way from your body means that it takes more time to strike, giving chances for the opponent to block. Even worse, if the opponent can dodge, your body would have already been overly exposed, your retraction time would then also be long, and the enemy can counter. 2. The power of an extended punch/thrust is lower compared to a close-to-body one. Why? It is because you cannot take advantage of the mass of your body. If you come to any self defense class, they will teach you to punch with your arm folding close to your body while moving the entire body from the foot to the hip to the torso so that the force is generated from the ground and moves up to the arm, combined with the mass of your body to deliver a deadly strike. Another thing that somebody here has already mentioned is that if you receive a blow like this to your chest, you're gonna be paralysed immediately due to the terrifying pain and organ failure. All of the above explain what you see. The truth is, Riddick is simply too powerful. Mind you, he is a Furyan, much quicker and stronger than a normal human being. That black warden is simply... unlucky.

She’s laughing before it happens because she already knows. Yep, you picked a fight with a guy you shouldn’t have picked a fight with.

The second time he placed something on that rock, it was so funny the other dudes knew exactly what would happen if they didn't run

This is one of the best best parts of the entire series.

I think we already know where John Wick get his inspiration from when he fought the three men at the bar.

Damn, I wanted to see the Spam key dismembering.

Scenes like this is why I always wanted Vin Diesel to play Master Chief in a live-action adaptation of Halo. He already sounds like Chief, he is good at one-liner deliveries and he's a good actor overall. He may be a tool in real life, but that really shouldn't matter unless he's a criminal, which, as far as I know, he isn't. Still annoyed they cast that Pablo dude for the TV show. Then again, that's the least of that show's problems

For 17 years I thought that was a key. Now people are telling me it's actually a can opener.

Riddick is that guy that plays a game with a bunch of stupid weapons and makes it his mission to kill someone with everything.

An important lesson of sorts really It's not just about winning the physical fight, it's about winning the mental fight

Had Riddick stayed, he'd have ended up running the prison.

The last thing that dude was sure was that that cup was a tea cup.

I think this scene insinuates that the guards have sexual assaulted her before. Yes she is able to defend herself but with the numbers of guards are overwhelming, as the movie continues she is infuriated that she isn’t able to kill them as they flee back into the tunnels.

Riddick is an Alpha Furyian, basically has much more strength, much more resistant to harsh climates, more resistance to natural sicknesses, better reflexes, faster healing, more endurance/stamina.
