Kudos to your great narration of the voyage of the courageous and skilled explorer Ferdinand Magellan of Portugal. However, without him, Jesus Christ and Christianity would be "all greek" to the inhabitants of the pre-Philippines. And the country would not be called Philippines and the inhabitants would not be called Filipinos. Since I am from Batangas, I would prefer to be called Batangan or Tagalog! Being baptized by the Spaniards as Filipinos from the name of their Prince Felipe of Spain makes me feel uncomfortable so to speak! I supposed my sentiments are all water under the bridge, however. Nonetheless, I do thank you for such very clear narration!
