It's 2023..and I'm here again listening to this masterpiece and trying to hide my tears because my heart aches to know how sad the whole series is. I watched the series again a few days ago. I was too young to understand the meaning of the song when the movie first came out. But now I know how painful it is. Long live our kings and queens of Narnia. Thank you for making our childhood so special. I wish the books had a better ending and we had more movies.

merissa Lewis I know 😭 but in the last book Lucy, Edmund, Peter, Eustace, and a few other characters die in a train crash. Susan was the only one who survive because she didn’t go. I think they were looking for a ring.

It's even more sad if you've read the books and know that Susan stops believing in Narnia :(

Yup. I remember when I finished the last book. I had no warning or idea that it would happen so it was a shock- I had to re-read it a couple of times. It was a beautiful ending though. Shows how anyone can die at any moment, so you need to be prepared and live every day like it's your last.

Its 2020..Im almost a teenager.. Yet still, here I am.. You know it feels great to remember something that you really loved when you were a child but.. Its sad to know that the thing you loved back then already ended. Your childhood may have ended but that doesn't mean that your happiness have to end too.

Now I'm 35 and have 3 kids, but I still love the movie and the song. It make me feel like I live in a fantasy somewhere beyond the horizon.

Thinking of the end scene with this song still makes me tear up... Bittersweet and beautiful.

Even though Narnia ended too early it will be forever remembered as one of the finest franchises of the 2000s and 2010s.

I miss being young and watching these movies omg. My father used to read me the books. Man my eyes do be sweating

I agree entirely. I wasn't a fan of the first film (too bland and several annoying changes from the book). However, I liked Prince Caspian, not least for the fact that the "bad" guys were all given personalities and were not one-dimensional cackling villains.

There're only very much rare of songs in my life that I loved since the first word of the song I'm listening. And this song is top in that. I too stuck when I listen this with movie and soon I fell in love wd the song but there was a huge sad bcoz Peter and Susan's losing.

This movie and song are just so amazing. I remember when I was 11 and I was so excited because I watched the first part and I kept begging my parents that I could watch it. Because it was pegi 12. I watched it every single week through the whole year and now 10 years later I am watching it again. I actually cried at the ending.

THE MEMORIES!!!!! Last year in 5th grade used to always play this song and we always watched and read Narnia during lunch!!

I can't stop listening to this song! And trying to sing it lol. Her voice is amazing. It can be very soft one minute, then fierce and commanding the next. I love it! She hits the notes very well. The accompanying orchestral music is very beautiful!

I don't know that there are many songs that I have ever cried harder while listening to over and over. This song represents all of my childhood memories and times/people I can never return to but will always hold close to my heart. Here I am, nearly 15 years later still crying as I hear these words. They provide such comfort whilst simultaneously causing such pain. "You'll come back when it's over. No need to say goodbye." I hope when I die, I get to revisit those memories and loved ones lost, even if it's just one time.

I've always been a fan since 2005 when I was in my freshman year in High School just a 12 year old girl. From the Lion, the witch and the wardrobe, prince Caspian and the voyage of the dawn treader. I watched everything. Now, I'm turning 30 next year and still makes me cry. I love this movie.
