The trees are lovely but what's more lovely, is watching Jonathan getting excited picking out the trees, put me into the Christmas spirit. As for Tracy and Terry, as mother and son, have such a close, loving relationship; to see you both laughing at each other's jokes, and share the same sense of humor, makes me smile and laugh with you. Today, you both had me laughing out loud! Just wonderful 😊 ❤🎄🤶

I know it's not the popular opinion, but I rather like the Salon being a bit shabby while all decorated. I do a lot of set design and one of my favourite looks is "deconstructed" space filled with opulence. I do appreciate that it's different to live that way, (heat would be lovely 😊) but as an aesthetic it's quite fabulous.

Happy days at the chateau, just don't let Tracy near anything that can be mistaken for food. Love to hear all the laughter.

Love how Lord Patrick hasn't let his new title make him think he's too good to help out lol. Such a good little digger and an adorable pup!! Except for chewing up your new decoration 😂 🎄

Doxies are full of vim and vigor - Patrick is definitely a determined German1 All of our Doxies have been like him and we have had 30 years of them with just 2 dogs!😀Got my wife, daughter, SIL and myself to be Lords and Ladies for Christmas just like Patrick and planted 4 trees in Scotland too! Have a great Christmas. Cute story about Tracy eating the cookie tin ornaments - how funny her son ratted on her in front of thousands - but it was funny !

I don’t celebrate Christmas anymore as it’s a very lonely and sad time of year for me personally, but I do love watching the joy it gives you as a family. Ineke x

I think I have smiled through this whole video..and LOL when Lord is digging in the tree whole, and when Terry brings out the little tree to put in it . I am so envious of your journey with your family.. Jonathan is one lucky boy to be raised with such a loving, talented family and having an adventure a child would love..it is all so beautiful

Have you guys seen the movie Christmas Vacation? That tree that was halfway hanging off looked like it was from the movie 😂

The Salon looks absolutely stunning - the natural twin trees and garland beautiful! Love the glass ornaments that look like the bowl of a wine glass (upside down) with gold detail! A couple of LOL moments just added to the festive feeling - the 10 meter tree in the 2 meter long trailer and of course Patrick helping himself to one of the ornaments. Feel good content y'all - grateful! 🎄♥

I just have to say if Lord Patrick wants to chew on an ornament he should be able to. 😂

I love Patrick ❤. I have a couple of his cousins across the pond. Lucky it was an ornament and not the string of lights. 😂

I wake up at 4.30 every morning ( my young cat needs to go out for a bathroom break! Sigh) and spend about 2 hours in bed with coffee, a purring cat and all my chateau vlogs. 😂 Oh my goodness! That’s way to early for me. My dog is so good, let’s me sleep in some bit 8:20-9 , sometimes 9:30 and then he’ll shake so his collar shakes and wakes me up to say “wake up lady! I gotta go out!” Lol!

I love that you’ve decorated the salon for Christmas instead of waiting fot it to be restored. It looks warm and cozy and quite regal! The trees are gorgeous!

Just lovely, as expected when Terry and Tracey get creative. Although I'm sure it will also be beautiful next year, I particularly love the rich greens, glitter and glamor against the aged patina of the unrenovated room.

I liked one method of keeping a tree powered my childhood neighbors did. After running the line through conduit stuffed three inches into the ground, they brought the line up a good two feet away from the mid-sized trunk. Then they set an outdoor use, four outlet hub a foot off the ground. It ended up being useful year round with their plug-in yard and garden tools. They would easily string lights up annually.
