    I added these to my truck based on a previous video you did. (I believe it was on the Hammer) I'm really happy with them. They help a lot when towing, and I haven't noticed any downside when I'm empty.

    Added this to my F150 and it made a little difference, but our trailer was just a bit more than our truck could handle....safely. We made a 300 mile round trip, and it was White-Knuckle driving in heavy traffic or in construction areas. The squat was less than without. Ended up buying a F250 and feel much better Camper is 38 feet long and 9000 LBS dry weight. Bumper pull with Recurve R3 Distribution Hitch.

    Nice video. My question is, was the weight distribution hitch setup correct. I have a 2017 f150 sc with the max towing package available for it. I have towed my best friends camper for him on 2 occasions. His caused mine to squat a bit. We moved the camper to a level spot in his driveway. I did a new setup on his wd hitch, and got the truck back to just under 1inch of squat. Just curious.

    I had an 16 3.5 eco boost at 56,000 miles 8 years later I ended up with broken motor mounts, and bad manifold. Our camper is only like 3500 dry so add like 2000 for everything else which is a rather large stretch so it’s still in the towing range. We ended up trading it in for a super duty

    I need help! I have a used Dodge ram 1500 190000miles. It was purchased from a specialty truck place in GA from the previous owner(orange county choppers edition) but it squats!! The folks used it previously to tow cattle trailers and a 15ft work trailer. I have been looking for a cheap fix that I could possibly do myself. I have some experience with cars but not with suspension whatsoever.. any recommendations on where to look or what to do as I am going thru some things currently (as most Americans are) I also have a Ford expedition that was my daily driver but it was hit in a parking lot and I was told that the tierod was bent but I am not sure if I trust the guy who said it as he didn't even jack it up or anything,and from what I could see you cannot see the arm from beside the tire and wheel well. so anyway I have been driving this and it's hard as a rock on the road...if there's a pebble you feel it and even without a trailer you feel the 'hop' when hitting bumps,potholes etc(I live in Columbus Ohio and there's 3 things we have no shortage of 1-abandoned homes priced to remain empty,2-a$$holes, and 3 POTHOLES...) I just don't feel confident driving it or the ford now...I'm afraid the ford is gonna lose the tire or it go sideways as I am driving and the Dodge feels like im gonna bounce off the road...any suggestions would be appreciated from y'all or the folks in the comments 😞im starting to feel i may meed to bite the bullet and have the dealer look at it for the low cost of my first born child and the next 2 years of income..

The bags are similar priced and the great thing is they are easily adjustable. BTW, I installed the airbags myself. It's not that difficult.

    I always had the porpoising problem on my 18. Everyone told me to get airbags so I did. It sorta helped. Then was told needed a bigger truck so I went with a 3/4 ton. Sold that went back to a 17 f150 eco. And finally someone else calls it porpoising, nobody could understand what I meant. I'm going to order some of these. Anybody have these and use bilstein 5100 with it?

  • @chasethornton5986

    @chasethornton5986

    That’s where I’m at. I have 5100’s front and back and it’s leveled. From everything I’ve read the RAS will lift the back of the truck .5-1.5 inches. Essentially defeating the level. Imagine it on stock suspension. That front bumper would be sniffing the pavement with a stick setup and RAS. it’s the ONLY reason I haven’t ordered my RAS system yet.

    We didn't show the weight distribution hitch settings for this setup because they are different for everyone.
