It’s pretty standard, see how much market price is going for check for dings and defects

I bought a set of them. Love them so far. Picked up 2 used 48° and 60° Cleveland wedges to fill the gap. Also, ordered the Stix club head covers (1W,3W,5W, Hybrid and putter) for $65. I had one club that had a mark, and I could have done to it myself. But so far, so good. I'm happy. I'm just getting back into golf after 23 years, and they sure beat my 25 year old Dunlap True Tech II set.

Anyone else watch/re watch after gm golf's review. Love Ricks honesty!

Rick, My wife purchased these golf clubs for me for Father’s Day because I loved your review. I have been addicted to your videos ever since. They were a bit delayed due to covid, so I am still waiting for their arrival, but talking with the company they upgraded me for free to the complete 14 piece set with bag and covers. I’m not a good golfer but I do respect and enjoy the game as much as I can. I agree with your assessment different from everyone else’s but perfect for a golfer like me. As a new 68 yr old golfer, I am learning much from, and greatly enjoying your videos. Just recently acquired a very slightly used Wilson Deep Red set, but this Stix set looks a bit better. I cannot find the Callaway Edge set at Costco anymore. I especially appreciate your letting us see a very skilled golfer like yourself flub a few shots :))

Seem like a decent set although not sure how they can justify that price tag with seemingly less tech and contents than the Costco callaway set. Still would love to win them though!

Just purchased them and played a round with them in freezing temps. I’m planning on doing a review on them from a mid handicappers perspective soon. I’m a Covid RN in the states, and work 60-72 hours a week. Just getting back into playing golf after having shoulder surgery in September 2019 and now all the Covid stuff. Watching your content definitely helps me escape from the reality I face at the hospital so thank you for the great review and content.

I’m pretty much the target for these. I went down the second hand route. Ping g400 irons and woods off eBay. Cost about the same as these but have 2 big advantages. 1. I know these are great clubs and my bad shots can’t be blamed on them 2. They are ping and when I want to move up as I hopefully get better they will have a significant resale value which I don’t think the tested clubs will.

A Ping g400 is also just s superior club overall to Stix. Stix is the best box set clubs ever made but they aint Ping

When I jump to hole 13 the starter tells me I am “breaking course rules”, and “ruining the flow of golfers”, but when Rick does it he gets to hit 20 shots on 3 straight holes 😂

I love this episode! I recently picked up a Callaway Strata Ultimate and as my first ever brand new set, and even though I haven't had the chance to play it yetvI can say I'm not pleased with it, because I'm absolutely thrilled with it! it sets you up with everything and has such a beautiful modern look to it and allows room to build your bag up with other clubs as well. They are aimed at someone that's getting into golf or getting back to golf and has a bit of vanity to spare. They have a nice comfortable feel and overall well rounded look to them, at only around 450 USD

the most expensive club in my bag is a titleist 907D its was 40$ 😅

Nice guide on these clubs. I had some STIX when I started golf about 40 years ago. I have recently taken up golf again so I was particularly interested to hear your review. Thumbs up to your channel which I find informative but also great fun.

That was a great video. Informative and fun. Too many new to golf , or even those who have struggled to get better, get sucked into buying expensive sets thinking it will automatically result in better golf. This is the way to go. No need in spending top dollar.

Hi Rick! I absolutely love your channel and it has recently inspired me to start playing more. At the moment I have old hand me down clubs from the 90’s and have been told that I’m about 20 metres behind everyone else so I’m looking at a little bit of an upgrade. Was just wondering if Stix is the ones to go with or are the Callaway Edge a better set?

These would be perfect for my nephew who’s just starting and can’t afford a full set of clubs yet, I might nick the 5 wood though 🤣

My grandpa is responsible for my interest in golf but he passed away Oct. 22nd before he could teach me all he knew about the game. Luckily, I’ve been able to learn much of the smaller aspects of the game from watching your channel so I wanted to thank you for posting videos that are both educational AND entertaining because it’s truly a fun way to learn about this great game! I play with his old set that he left behind when he passed and feel that my game would greatly benefit from a (basically) new set of clubs! 🤞🏼 Especially after receiving a great review from a skilled golfer such as yourself who’s opinion I trust!
