Thanks for continuously innovating! I am definitely picking 2 of these up, but I don't think I'll ever use the "real driving mode" it has no performance benefit for me and my crawlers, and would be confusing at times. In crawling many times I need instant reverse to stop a roll over and this would inhibit that ability. I can see certain racing type RC's maybe taking advantage of it.

I just installed a Hobbywing 1080 g2 esc and 555 13t 5 slot motor in my Vanquish Phoenix. Both fit perfectly. No cutting, No grinding required. Thanks 👍

A couple of really good/practical changes and, if pricing remains the same, these will continue flying off the shelves! However, I would never use real driving mode in a crawler, I want instant reverse to get out of jams.

Yeah I wouldn't use it for a hard core rock crawler but for a scale trail truck it could cool and add to the scaleness factor

4s capable that will be amazing, but for those they to do that you need to go high turn motor

I have a feeling they're not gonna be around $40 any more, lol That was the main draw to the 1080 for me, I own 4 of them because they were awesome brushed ESCs and pretty inexpensive. I haven't found the price of the new G2 yet.

Did you say the BEC was 4A? I read that it was 6A now.

6A is a peak current. 4A continuous

is there any special limitation when using 3s battery ? Or plug and play ?

Hello, Should have no problems on 3s. Most use this setup as a 3s ESC in crawling.

What size cooling fan fits

I tried a 25mm HW fan and was to large, so maybe a 20mm?
