Lewandowski missed his chance again. I called Bayern's fail in the quarter-finals early on. Many called me crazy. I said: _"We'll meet again!"_ Bayern, like PSG, have no real opponents in their domestic league. So they have _ "no training"._ The only real challengers come up in the knock-out-stage of the UCL. That's not enough! It already has become a problem to both teams and it won't get any better in the future... _(That's just my take on it...)_

The only thing I ask of someone who's looking at Karim Benzema's career numbers is that they consider that up until 2021-2022, Karim Benzema never ever took any of the penalties. So add +/- 10 goals per season if you want to compare him to anyone who was the main man in their team.

I think Fernando Hierro also was once the designated penalty shooter. He scored over a 100 La Liga goals, as a defender! He even was, at one point, the top scorer for the Spanish national team! _Edit: Only 36 of his 104 La Liga goals were penalties! During the 1991/92 season, he was Real's top scorer with 21 goals._ _He must be the record scorer, as a defender, in football history..._

remember very well that season even the fans wanted him out even tho he wasn't productive he replied perfectly by scoring 2 goals against Bayern in the semi-finals.

Benzema’s blessing and curse was that he played alongside one of the GOATS of football. He was blessed because he got to train and play with CR7 and got to learn a lot from him all those years. His curse was that he was always gonna be overshadowed by CR7 and was always gonna fly under the radar no matter what. I’m glad he’s getting the recognition and respect that he deserves at the moment. Give this man his Ballon d’or cuz he deserves it this year.

For all his faults Benzema has shown exceptional professionalism throughout his career. I have no idea whether or not his allegations are false or not and I don't want to assume. But all I will say is I think almost every hurdle he's faced could've been career ending for most other players.

As Real Fan, I was disappointed people didn't see the fact that Benzema able to stay as a starter for so long because of his consistency. he is not a goal scorer, it was CR7 back then. Benzema role was to become an assistant of CR7 whenever he is in the pitch. I'm glad after Ronaldo left, Benzema able to adapt and become the goal scorer.

Benzema always had crazy talent, but what fans don't understand but the Real Madrid Staff did was his selflessness on the pitch. Not only that, but he was probably working his ass off behind the scenes which fans cant see but the team can, and this is why throughout the good and the bad years Real Madrid stuck with him! and now the club is being rewarded for that decision.

You have the perfect voice for narrating these short Docs!!!! I don’t watch many of these short documentary style vids that are narrated by the KZreadr but If I do try and watch 1 it’s very rare I get to the end of the 15 to 20 Mins because most of them irritate Me with the way they present it…. There’s alot of boring dull voices that send You to sleep rather than keep you entertained and then you’ve got the exact opposite where don’t want come across as boring so they shout and speak really fast so We are missing information…. But I’ve got to say You seem to have got the perfect balance…. Fair play to You….

This is what I've been waiting for 😳 Also one note: for years RM struggled to put a traditional number 10 in their team. Players like Ozil and Isco had to be wingers and I realised it is because of Benzema. CR7 would act like a striker often and Karim would drop lower from 9 to 10. Not quite the same but I put him and Harry Kane into a category of strikers that are neither nine or ten but 9,5.

Great video man, Benzema is a king he is phenomenal. His overall game play to help the team is sensational, we are all humans we make mistakes. Benzema is a legend of Real Madrid because he was as important as Ronaldo but he worked behind the scenes. I hope he wins the Ballon d'or this season he has been exemplar

He undoubtedly always had it in him. He's the perfect example of a talented and intelligent player who fulfills his potential, even if its that late into his career. This year is the first time in madrid where everything is set to perfectly align with his strengths, and he made the best out of it. I respect him because of this. It's not easy being where he's been. Sadly I'll never be able to forget the scandals, crimes and atrocious games/missed chances he has had over the years. Although to be honest, they did give us a fair share of hilarious memes to laugh at, and I think that by the end of the day people will remember him for the legendary football player that he is.

Sometimes some people deserve a second chance. He has matured, he has demonstrated that it is possible to turn your life around etc. Those legal problems he had when he was younger cost him winning the WC with the French national team. He has worked to change his game and it has paid off.

Benzema has always been amazing, he never fell off once, he just knew to play his part. Also he never took any penalties for Madrid up until last season and he was still averaging 24 goals or more

I never thought I'd see Ian Holloway and SAF in the same sentence! But on a real note, Dyche is synonymous with Burnley. The thought of them not lining up in a 442 with two big men up top, standing tall and organised for 90 mins, followed by the gravel-fuelled voice of the man himself does not seem right.

Chelsea fan here, without him Real would be nothing right now. He is a machine and overlooked for years becouse of Ronaldo.He was great in 2 games vs Chelsea.

I'm a relatively new soccer fan from the US. Have surfed through a bunch of good youtube channels, but yours is consistently the best!

What I also think is impressive is his mental health shape. Almost any other player (or human) would have lost it or self-destroyed. He could easily ended on a 2nd tier league in Europe at 30 if he hadn't overcome all the scandal/drama he got into. I guess Zidane and Ancelotti never ceased seeing his capabilities and dedicated time to him off the pitch. I truly admire this man, regardless of what he could've done or not outside football. I think Zidane had a really positive impact on Benz's character and professional development. Something should've been mentioned about that in this clip

Ever since the game against Lyon in 2010/2011, I felt Benzema had the skill to match Zidane, which is why Zidane absolutely loved him (of course being French as well helped). Big Benzo always had such silky movements.

this was quite an enlightening video, I was wondering if you would also consider doing a video on Thibaut Courtois he's a player who is just as shrouded in controversy as Karim Benzema and I would like to understand why.

A special type of player who doesn't come around very often: A number 9 who is great at build up play and who can be selfless for the benefit of the team. He appears to have been tailor-made for a Guardiola-esque system where the striker can slide in and out of the center. I often wonder what he would have been able to achieve if was made the centerpiece of team during his prime.

I read somewhere during his not so good part of his career, he seeks advised form his fellow country men Zidane on what he can do. I cant remember the numbers but his body fat percentage was like 10% and all the doctors in Madrid said that he cant go any lower despite doing anything. 10% is already excellent but I guess when the monsters like CR7 have 7%, he need to do something. He went to a specialized clinic somewhere in the mountains recommended by Zidane for the whole league breaks and come back with a 5-7% body fat, and it improved his game a lot. That's dedication. His controversies not effecting his pitch performance also speaks high on his professionalism. He spent his 20s playing support for CR7. Now he is the main man, and Vini Jr is happy to replace the role to support him. Its a beautiful transition.
