Benzema donne l'impression qu'il arrive a ralentir le temps lorsqu'il touche le ballon notamment dans la zone cruciale qu'est la surface de reparation. So this was very difficult for me to concede Benzema is more technically perfect than R9. The way I see it is that R9 is purely more skillfull(aka dribbling and tricks) and deadly in front of goal but benzema has better first touch, volleys and curl shot technique. He's also better than r9 in connecting the play between midfield and striker.(better passing). Does that make him a better player than R9, No. but I just feel like technically he might be better. what do you think?

No one ever would argue about the quality that Benzema has, nor the importance of him to real madrid.Nevertheless, beside these advantages I’m must admit that there are also drawbacks which are as follows: * Benzema is playing a fantastic complex role in terms of using every tiny space in the field and knowing when to move based on his analysis to the opponents and their tactics + their defense weaknesses. He can easily cause a trouble to the strongest defense by luring the defenders to get them away from their defense line which makes a space other Madrid player can run into. * Benzema scoring abilities is excellent, he might not be the best striker to score goals but lets agree that he has the quality of a striker especially in the last few years. You can check on some of his goals are truly legendary like his goal against Osasuna in 2012 and against Ajax in 2013. * Karim Benzema is a great playmaker. His passing and playmaking is from another level. Just watching him passing the ball is so satisfying I really wanted to become a player wth multiple abilities like him❤️. Now, imagine him retiring or transferred to another club who in the world will be capable of replacing him with all of the abilities and qualities we just mentioned earlier? Unfortunately, Real Madrid depended on Benzema a little too much to the point that the team offense machine cannot work well without him. This will be the sad story of madrid in the coming seasons💔

It's so tough to play so small on a pitch so big, KB9 play can transpose the 5 vs 5 skills and technique vision like is nothing... For a guy so tall to have such abilities in tight space it's really impressive. I would love to see Odegaard playing with him, It will remind me Ozil and Benzema

SO true i always say the same, never a bad behaviour, never dives for a penalty, he only plays football.

France is really a special nation they have a few strikers that are the perfect combo of a 9 and a 10 with the likes of Benzema, Griezmann and Cantona. all three of them are so smooth on the ball, are goal treats and playmaking treats all at the same time. players like those mentioned are so enjoyable to watch

I played with a good buddy of mine in high school and club. I never understood what the club coach saw in him until years later. He was never as good as everyone else, always a little behind in skills compared to rest of team. He kept recruited both of us for 3 years straight together. Other team could smell his lacking from a mile away. The defenders would position themselves as if he were to pass the ball, they wouldn't guard him as hard as the others when he had the ball. This allowed him to score many "out of nowhere" goals, and when he started doing this in a match they would defend him more seriously which opened up his teammates for a pass to score. He scored goals you never thought he would and many match winners in tournaments. He was a nightmare for other teams, and I never saw it like that back then. Never knew what he was gonna do, and he could score from almost any angle randomly. Wouldn't want any other player to play up top with me besides him. I understand my coach now. Reminds me of how In my co-ed league right now, the male defenders would rather let the girl shoot then give a pass to their male teammates. Not a big surprise most goals are scored by the girls.
