I loved that they included a real deaf person in this movie and I love they also integrated her in this interview which they all did amazing.

@@joeledison2966 I believe she had an interpreter off screen, behind Djimon. Her eyes are frequently focused in that space. She is definitely deaf, there was a whole thing about how important John Krasinski felt it was to have a real deaf actress playing the deaf character.

@cinemarose I agree! Unfortunately, I expect roles will have to be written for her. It's not like casting different ethnicities or a woman instead of a man. I hope directors will want to work with her and maybe rewrite a role to be deaf. But I think someone needs to write her a teen romance vehicle showing what challenges there are when a hearing guy falls for her. That, and of course A Quiet Place part 3!!

Agree. I mean it's sad that we have to set the bar so low - for any hearing person, this stuff is automatic; and it should be for deaf people too - but it's also really nice that Milly's actually able to get that, unlike so many deaf people.

As an introvert myself, I totally relate to Cillian Murphy in the sense that being the center of attention and having to express your opinions in front of people can be uncomfortable but if you're with people you feel comfortable with, it can feel much more enjoyable, and he does look really relaxed and happy in this interview, I'm glad they are all good friends.

This interview was done just before things shut down last year. Originally, this movie was supposed to be released last year, but got pushed back due to the pandemic. They're just re-releasing the interviews now to get people excited & interested again.

watching this again in 2024 and i can’t stop smiling. i can’t believe i got to see them working together again and then getting their very first oscar nominations. cillian and emily’s chemistry was always so palpable, they’re so comfortable with each other and trust each other, their friendship really translates on to the screen and that was a big part of why they worked so well together in oppenheimer. i’m very proud ❤

Cillian always plays as a cold hearted villains in many movies but here I got to give a hands down to him! He successfully invoked an emotional moment with that very cold and sad face.

I was incredibly thrilled when I saw Cillian Murphy in the movie. He’s such an underrated and fantastic actor

I just loved how powerfully motivating Emily was in this interview. You can tell she was the atmosphere setting person, setting and keeping the bar high attitude, as well as individually responsive to each and every other person. Her poise and manners even in the manner of sitting demanded respect and control, yet she still kept giving the attention to the others. Such a classy lady. And Millie, love how amazing she is!

Emily is such a force. Amazing person.

I love the relationship between Cillian and Millie in the Movie. They were both so amazing and powerful in these Roles. Emily is so beautiful and talented. I adore her and John Krasinski ❤️

Loved how included Millicent is in these movies and interviews and everything, and any time it was turn to answer everyone was silent and payed attention to her and what she had to say, it was very sweet to see. She's such a beautiful young women and is so patient with everyone 💖

Ok Cillian and Emily were amazing but can we give props to THE MILLICENT SIMMONDS? SHE DID A PHENOMENAL JOB!!

Seeing the scene @ 7:10 I have always loved you in sign without words is so much more powerful than words could ever say. It brings tears. Thank you Millicent and John for a rare experience.

Haven't seen the first movie but knowing that 1. Cillian is in this one 2. He's actually happy in this interview. Guess Imma watch it.

When I first watched a quiet place 2 I had no idea Cillian was in it, because of his beard😂

This movie was soo good. From the opening scene to the end, it was such a beautiful story. I had no idea that Millie was deaf in real life, she was amazing.

Cillian Murphy being ethereally beautiful yet so down to earth! 💫

Just loved the fact they got Millicent to ask questions as well.

Now THIS is a fun interview!! I wish Millicent could teach me how to sign! So when I return to the theater I'll use sign language asking for popcorn, with extra butter.😋🍿😂

Love all these actors so much! Cillian Murphy just oozes pure class and they all look amazing

The tense, understatement, "scary" in 1 & 2 with the dystopian silence in the perspective of a deaf person and a requirement of that silence in order to survive made these uniquely special to watch. 👍❤ Brilliant!

My God! Went to watch part 2 with my brothers today and all I'll say is that what John said about these movies being less horror and more about the family dynamic, he couldn't have been more spot on! It was an emotional roller coaster for me watching this one because they did such an incredible job at making you understand and fully feel every individual hardship. Emily, Milli, Noah, the freaking baby, and even Cillian! You can find a little piece of yourself in each of these characters and THAT is a harddd thing to do when writing these scripts

I can't wait for this movie! Cillian Murphy is fantastic in everything he does as well as Emily Blunt who is absolutely amazing.

Oh my gosh! Emily, Millie, Cillian and Djimon were in the interviews since last year. I love them. Where is John Krasinski?
