I love the way he just stares out into space while someone is talking. He is in another world, but yet he has no desire to interrupt or be the center of attention. The best actor! There is no else that could play Tommy.

I have similar heritage as him and my eyes are almost identical to his plus I have long dark eyelashes lol When I was a just a boy of 12-15 years my mum’s friends would always tease about stealing my eyelashes lol and said I have bedroom eyes lol And now here I am just turned 50 starting to lose my hair a bit and few extra pounds around the middle but still have those eyes and lashes lol We all get older I guess lol

What’s interesting to me aren’t the similarities between him and the character Tommy, it’s the things that are different. Like how quiet and introverted he is compared to Tommy. Cillian is a introvert he isn’t just zoning out he is completely paying attention to everything that’s being said and his surroundings. He is such a talented actor he embodies tommy Shelby from his walk to the way he talks literally everything that makes tommy...tommy. He is talents and mysterious and absolutely gorgeous.

It blows my mind every time I hear Cillian talk realising he’s actually Irish! He does a very convincing Birmingham accent 😮

Emma Louise not really, no Brummy recognises it...very few hard 'A's and too many southern 'U's,, but it is near enough for most people, in fact it's a refined Brummy. Nevertheless his performance is staggeringly good, as are they all. His brother is a total psychopath, and he does it so well. Brilliant drama, it will undoubtedly win more awards and Cillians highly intelligent synopsis is clear for all to see.

His accent in the show is actually pretty spot on for a Birmingham accent from the 1920’s. People keep comparing it to a current Birmingham accent which is incorrect. The two accents are 100 years apart lol. So of course they’re going to be different lol

I'm 34 years old and I've been straight for almost exactly 34 years. For a few days now I've been watching the "Peaky Blinders" on Netflix, now this interview on KZread and I have to say, I'm in love with Cillian Murphy.
