Hear, hear! In fact, off the back of Danish Pete's video of picking up his Rift amp, I submitted a question on the Rift website about some component choices they described there. Got back a very thoughtful, sensible, informative reply from Chris Fantana. Respect!

It has taken me 3 attempts to get through this video. Not because it's boring, but because I have no ability to stay awake for much more than 15 mins once in a dark room and I look at these before bed. Great video. Informative and entertaining. Chris seems a very likeable chap and his product sounds incredible. Great work all round.

I was fortunate enough to play one of Aynsley's rift amps (before the sig was out) at a guitar weekend and what really blew me away was how sweet it sounded whatever guitar was plugged in. Teles, Strats, LPs, PRS, anything they all sounder killer. Wonderful amps that bring the best out of your instrument.

How refreshing to hear an amp builder say use modelling amps for low volume. I would also add modelling or plugins for recording is also easier for guitar. I mic up cabinets, use 12mtk recording 12 tracks, but quite frankly using S-gear or UA plugins is just as good! Many venues now do not allow big amps or volume so its harder to go beyond 90db
