Gary Moore was the greatest guitarist to walk this earth, so nice to see his son following in his footsteps and playing the guitar also. What a nice little treat having Jack come on and talk about his dad, thanks Andertons!

For all those bagging this young guitar player; he may be no better than some of you, and Lee could interview you on that basis, but what would the point of interest be? At least he has a back story interesting to guitarists. That doesn’t mean he has to be accepted as a mega player, but he’s not falling to far from the tree, so that’s good to see.

Liked this video, Jack comes across as a nice guy and a good player! Gary was my first gig in a small venue on the last date of the back to the blues tour so was spoiled to see Gary close up. The sound and the physical feeling of the Marshall amps rumbling through my chest and bones will be a memory I'll gladly keep for the rest of my days! I remember the crowd kept calling Gary & the band back at the end of the show to play some more that it got to point where Gary said "what do you want?" everyone wanted Parisian Walkways. So they played it and then finally let Gary & the guys go! Best wishes & luck to Jack & his band!

The bit about Moore being "done" by a single bend in a duelling solo kind of reminds me of the duelling solo between Steve Vai and Dweezil Zappa on the Zappa Plays Zappa DVD (I believe it's in the tune "Trouble Every Day") and one of the best moments is when they're just trading full-on shred stuff and then it's Vai's turn and he just hits one note and vibratos the *SHIT* out of it. And it's just so much cooler than if he's played dozens of notes in the same interval.

Gary was a legend among many, Clapton, Page Gilmor, Knopher, apologies to many other British legends, etc. Who is to say who stands head and shoulders above the rest,. But in the 50s and early 60s. Hank Marvin did not stand above the rest because there was no, REST, Hank was the man, no-one else. He inspired thousands of people to pick up a guitar. The captain seems to think he was a joke, without him and Cliff, British popular music would not exist. John Lennon said "before Cliff there was no British music worth listening to". Stop thinking Hank was a joke ,captain, he was 'the man' of his time.

I wonder if he’s a natural righty? His dad was left handed but played right handed. His dominant hand was on the neck. Some of the best players around are the same including Steve Morse. I’m right handed but the first time I picked up a guitar it felt natural in a lefty position with my right hand on the neck. It was strung right handed so I learned to play it right handed. My right hand 40 years later still has better dexterity than my left. I wonder if it would have made me better playing a left handed guitar. I accomplished pretty much anything I wanted to playing right handed but still wonder what if. Any thoughts?
