I find it very "interesting" that so many popular reviewers have lately put out so many positive and delighted reviews -- and almost simultaneously -- of the R, almost a year after its initial release. I've been looking at buying the R, and up until a few weeks ago almost everyone and their mother were bashing this camera. Thanks for the detailed review.

As usual, people bash stuff before extensively testing it out. It's not always about the specs, it's about the experience. I absolutely love this camera.

I'm coming from Canon 7d Mk2 and I mainly do photography and after looking at all the options out there, I picked the RP. The bottom line is it takes amazing photos and very reasonable price. I was going to try Sony but I have EF lenses so it wouldn't be worth going through all the trouble and plus, Canon and 3rd parties will be pumping out R mount lenses :-) eventually.

i am use camera canon R full manual mode but... my camera ISO automatically self change to 1600 then i am puss ISO button itis go automatic to auto mode ISO... it's very big problem.....please solve this problem

I'm an enthusiast nature photographer using Canon DSLRs for last twelve years. I need long telephoto reach for shooting birds. Contemplating to buy this camera. My plan is to attach two 2x Canon extenders to my EF 300mm f/2.8L IS II lens and use it on EOS R camera via the R mount adapter. My hunch is; the camera will still be able to AF through the EVF! Am I correct? BTW, I'm not into videos so, it doesn't matter what the camera offers for this purpose. Thank you in advance.

Canon eos r is kind of big for vloging the m50 would be better
