Calvinism is a dead life. I went into a calvinist church one time and everybody look unfriendly and definitely unhappy, that would be Dr John MacArthur's Church, Grace Community Church.

Thank you for this concise, bold video against Calvinism! To me,Calvinism is heresy. Calvin got it from Augustine, who got it from the Gnostics. Calvin quoted from Augustine over 400 times in his "Institutes" and many acknowledged Augustine as the Father if modern Roman Catholicism. To me,Calvinism is such a serious departure from the faith,that I'm extremely reluctant to recommend the ministry of anyone who teaches it,regardless of what other good teaching they may present.

Amen Pastor, you are absolutely correct. Your video is a fine example of what preaching the Truth sounds like. Calvinism is false doctrine plain and simple.

I felt terrible after reading "Chosen By God" by R.C. Sproul. He claims it's an inspiring doctrine but it's just the opposite. I had never read anything by a Calvinist before. Thank God that there were Baptists who had written against Calvinism and pointed out the errors of it's teachings.

Jeff Dollar : You won’t know if you are elect until you die and find out if you persevered enough or correctly so don’t celebrate your “election” so soon. I hope your children, brothers, sisters, cousins, parents, ect were not “doomed from the womb” destined for destruction for God’s glory. It always amazes me that Calvinists are always so honored and humbled that God choose them. So self focused and narcissistic, not ever adding that others are created for destruction.

@@golightly5121 knowing you are elect is the same as knowing one is a Christian. A Christian doesn't wake up one morning and decides he no longer loves Christ and then walks away from Him forever. One can be have assurance of salavation based on God's promises given to those who have a genuine saving faith. If you have a faith that permits one to continue in unrepentant sin and rebellion against God, then you should be living in fear of Hell. Those who love Christ strive to obey Him, and when they fail they confess their sins and repent. Such people do not live in fear they are not of the elect. That's a made ip Arminian paradigm.

because the Baptists are a false church, who prefers to be this or that, calvinistic for instance, instead of being faithful to the apostolic tradition

I just don’t understand why Christians just won’t enjoy the simplicity of the Gospel of Christ. Why do certain professing believers follow a man named Jean (John) Calvin (who by the way had a man++ burned at the stake) whose made up doctrines are rank heresies? ++ Michael Servetus was a Christian living in the 1500's who incurred the wrath of John Calvin and was murdered by him and his cronies for illegitimate reasons. He was accused of heresy and railroaded through a mock trial and put to death being burned alive at the stake. Yet such an atrocity was praised by even well-known Calvinists as Bullinger and others for generations.

Why do those who believe in Calvinism underhandedly go into Baptist Churches and divide and ruin them? Is that honest and Christlike?

What drives me away from this calvanistic theology is that it teaches that God chooses who not to save before things began. When God's word clearly states that it is His will that none should be lost and that all should be saved. The only thing keeping anyone from Salvation is their own refusal to submit to Jesus Crist. Sad.

@Watchman D Perseverance of the saints is not the same as eternal security. It means that if one is chosen then they will live like they are chosen and endure to the end. While Arminians believe that a Christian can walk away from Christ and lose their salvation Calvinists believe one must live the life of one who was chosen, aka Lordship Salvation to prove to themselves and to others that they are chosen. If one backslides the Arminians say they lost their salvation while the Calvinists say they weren't chosen to begin with. Both are erroneous.

The cult of calvin since this video came out has grown exponentially.

@@dwashington1333 My favorite verse. All my life I was taught that the faith is the gift but when studied further that the Greek doesn't allow that translation. Salvation is the Gift. Anyone could exercise faith. Its faith in "what" or "who that matters.

Wow. Thank you Pastor Neal. I finally figured out from this video why I always seem to end up in arguments with Calvinists who never bother telling me they are Calvinists before they start harassing me. Really, they are a Cancer. My friend attended a church and several Calvinists invaded that church without telling anyone they were Calvinists and have utterly destroyed the teaching of that church. And the people who are still there are totally confused by the conflict. Many have fled and don't even want to go to a church. That is the result of Calvinism. This teaching is from Satan.
