Just what trophies\achievements were meant to do. Genius for adding replayability to our games.

Gotta say I love your regular content but this trophy hunting filter is fun too! I’m more an Achievement guy but seeing how I rarely 100% any game this is super fun to watch the game unfold this way. Bravo!

Trophies feel more satisfying than Xbox achievements, steam achievements might as well not be there. Trophies have a cool vibe to them and the platinum separated from 100% is nice, and an extra jolt of adrenaline. Like it’s annoying to not be able to get a decent reward like a platinum if 100% is locked behind post game stuff or dlc too.

@@IskandarTheWack to each his own, the PS5 is my first PS console since PS1, and I’ve grinded for some hard achievements before. I agree with Steam achievements though lol

Absolutely underrated channel, I've been watching for the last couple of weeks and I only just realised how many subscribers you have, honestly I thought this was a huge channel just from the quality of videos, keep up the good work man!

Loving these types of videos, and I'm glad platinuming the games is so much fun for you mate, I find with many games it enhances the experience just like with the 2 last God of War games, and some detract from the experience sadly. Another great video

You're spot on, as I experienced with the 30 platinum's challenge I know all too well how some games make the platinum journey apart of the experience even improve it and some just make for a chore. This was a seamless platinum journey though, really enjoyed it and I'm really having a lot of fun with these sorts of videos!

Yeah the main problem that I had was that it could have been so much better but just didn’t live up to it’s potential. I mean the same mini boss 4 times in a row! Come ooooon. And the clickers were stupid, you could slaughter and stomp their guts right next to eachother and they wouldn’t hear you 😂

I can finally watch this (got the plat today) loved the game in the end took a bit for me to get there tho

Looks like a beautiful game but I know looks aren’t everything. The trophies flowing through made it a lot more appealing too. Maybe one day I might get a chance to give it a go. Great video Jim. “That’s good” 😂

Visually one of the best looking games I've played, crispy crispy looking game. It's in the shelf ready for you, only catch is you gotta beat Rift Apart first 😂

It was incredibly disappointing unfortunately, but i feel like with games like The Evil Within, the ip definitely has potential, as the sequel was considerably better in said game especially.

I'd say both are great but i prefer the first evil within. I thought callisto would be another evil within situation but it wasn't. The first evil within was truly ambitious and still has unique aspects not seen in other survival horror games.

Yea. I did miss some bios and the secret rooms on the initial playthrough so I had to do a second playthrough to get those but yea.. it was fairly simple. but i loved the game itself!! had a lot of fun with it!! I need to get the DLC!!

I love this game, and believe it should continue. Don't feel bad, I played hardmode about half of the game, and was forced into medium after dying 20-25x to one monster. about 60+ times all together. Still love the game. It warms my dark heart, someone else loved the game too.

How do u not have more subs? Underrated. Also, I do love this game. A lot, I love the combat. But yeah, the couple things I don’t like is the bugs and a couple of the trophies. Otherwise solid game.

I enjoyed this game and game style as i didn’t played dead space or resident evil

Its not over for jacob cause in the end he was told he still has a way out of black iron

Got this game in my backlog to play. Picked up on sale last week, and also had a giftcard from Christmas applied onto it, so it only cost me £19 which I hope will be a good bargain

I love SkillUp’s reviews, but yeah I should have waited for sale with this one but it’s not terrible. Hopefully their next game is a banger Next year there’s so many great games coming out. Definitely getting the Dead Space Remake platty

Yeah the collectible trophy glitched on me, I followed a guide but didn't get it

Just wanted to recommend deaths door. Its a souls like game, i think you would enjoy playing it.

I finished the game and the main moment that broke my heart was the death of Elias

Having an easy platinum/100% is another reason for getting this on good sale.

Feel like I’m wanting to get this on ps+ more than anything

If it didn't have the difficulty trophy, I'd go for the platinum. I only have 5 trophies left and the maximum security one is one of them. I don't feel like replaying the whole game again and that last boss was a pain to beat.

That's fair enough mate, that final fight is a beast on Maximum security! You have so many one shot attacks that'll kill you it's not fun. Other than that though it isn't too bad

I was going too do 2 playthroughs but was it hard doing everything on max Security?

This is my favorite game of the year but I am still crying that I can't get my maximum security trophy... It doesn't pop up and this was a pain in the ass to do it... I just hope they fix...

@@MayorHairBear yeah... And since it's my fav game of the year having this issue really makes me have bad thoughts and not liking it so much because it's really upsetting.. I do hope they patch this because they fucked up the trophy when they tried to fix the bug that let you unlock the trophy without playing it all the way in maximum security

This is a weird gsme for me. I played dead space remake and I thought it was enjoyable but was also stale cause it really changed nothing. This isn't the horror experience I was expecting but had enough differences thst I was invested the whole way through and the whole printing weapons thing was a nest concept

I wish the maximum security trophy would pop beat it twice on maximum and still no trophy

As far as I know yes, but said patch has also now apparently bugged legit Maximum security playthroughs not unlocking the trophy regardless

Idk about the combat but aside from that it looks like a game I would enjoy. The game definitely has flaws but I feel like a lot of the bad press came from the pc port, expecting something more like Dead Space and a good bit of clickbait titles making the game seem worse than it actually is.

I think the combat'd be fine *if* they didn't almost strictly rely on horde fights. The camera lock on just makes managing them suuuper annoying. Pretty much guaranteed I wouldn't attempt a plat here. I already, barely enjoyed myself here. Don't wanna end up completely hating it 🤷‍♂

Yeah you don't want a platinum to make the experience worse so good call, just leave it as is

Got about halfway through on maximum security and then just started to lose the urge to play. Got boring quick.
