Read deep into the R&R history. The term Punk was coined circa 1971 to describe mid- Sixties bands like this. What is now called Garage. But originally among the early collectors and writers it was called Punk. @@mattismeller378
this sir is one of the big moments of youtube
This song is so mesmerising it takes you to the very depths of your mind and soul totally awesome
Blacflag - SUPERB VIDEO to a SUPERB TRACK - I remember the Calico Wall doing this track the FIRST time round !!! - nice one !!!
Yet another cool find in my ever continuing journey into discoveries from the recent past....
a psychedelic experience of the times so beauuuuutiful and wondering in a decade of so many things you wouldn't even know where to start but just imagine how experience just come in the thoughts of it and let your imagination flow flow flow flowing in the atmosphere that's what this classic gem of a tune feels like when you listen to it well peace everyone😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂.
Absolutely love this track. Had this on a comp and took forever to find the record.
It was 1989 when I was first inducted into the strange world of sixties garage punk. I can’t imagine what inspired this sonic curiosity, it still sounds so original
How very relevant of a tune during a global pandemic. I still can enjoy this tune without the notion. Be safe everyone. Stay creative.
One of my favorite songs ever.

An appropriate pairing of sound and vision. Disturbing, but so is it's meant to be
Living with you people yet apart within my soul You can see me when I'm walking for I'm here but yet I'm not And I'm sick of the world people - so groove them if you want Cause I'm a living sickness Sick with just myself So groove along your straight line I'll hang onto myself And I'll never let go No no no no no no no no

Anthony Pioppi & Blake Welling - indeed the lyric is infact “sick of well people so move them if you want” which matches the video exactly.
Brilliant track
This reminds me that a former coworker who now works in a very large hospital was describing the horrors of the mental wards today...

Still sounds fantastic.

@odeerg Yeah, I know. And I suppose, technically, it could be said to be a different release. But the “Beep” side was just that….a single beep followed by a few seconds of silence, and then the same thing repeated again for the rest of the record. And the A-side was just “Flight Reaction” released again. Doesn’t count as “new music” does it.
I can relate.....im 100% military PTSD w/ psychotic tendencies.....& bi-polar....'a psychotic is a person who finally realizes what is going on'...William S Burroughs....

This '60s Garage stuff is amazing, isn't it? It puts those musicians(who think they are musicians) of the last 30 years to shame.

This is an all-time favourite song of mine and you've made such a good job of it! The audio's great and the footage is excellent - works really well. Top YouTubing, thanks!
Gorgeous video work, thank you. I had no idea this wasn't a song from the Fuzztones. It sounds very nice as it is.
excellently twisted
This is one of the scariest songs ever recorded and a very spooky video
I read that they pressed 1000 copies of their "Beep/Flight Reaction" 7", and shipped it out, and 875 were returned. What a pity, they should have given it to me instead.
Great song, great idea, great work.
Dear lord I love this mid 60s insanity so much!
I'm just in this kind of mood tonight.
That sweet Bryan Gregory "destroy all monsters" tone!

Does anyone know anything about these guys? I know it was a studio band called Nite Caps and that they didn't perform live or anything, but did they release anything more besides these "I'm A Living Sickness" and "Flight Reaction"? It bugs me, cause these two songs are just amazing.

The flip-side of the original pressing of Flight Reaction is "Beep".. Six minutes of a 1k BEEP over and over.
try it at "klang und kleid" Records -and other stuff. They have many obscure 7" garage singles (releases) from the sixties.
