  The difference between this and '76-77 punk rock is that punk would start with a soft intro and build to a more aggressive crescendo, whereas The Starfires reversed the order. But who cares? The intro to this song is cool as hell.

  Any idea where this band is from? Amazing bummed out yet energetic garage rock on the borderline between punk and the moody sound. Who were these geniuses?! The track appears on the awesome Wyld Sydes vol. 3 where its listed as a California track issued on a single by the I.V.A. label which (according Discogs) released nothing else

  I discover this band in france on the 80's, a friend buy an import LP split Swamp Rats / Unrelated Segments, i still have my copy tape, first time i hear garage punk their Psycho version is my favorite, great energy, i was young, this help me to realise the "time warp of Rock'n'Roll", i buy disco still sucks LP, my neighbourhood don't crash my door (for the moment), i'm still sharing !
