Here is the Cabelas Carnivore #8 Meat Grinder, with 1/2 horse power motor. It has all stainless steel parts, and is easy to wash in the dishwasher.

Professionally done MD, looked really good. Sturdy as hell and it had no trouble at all, plenty of giddy up! TFS!

Looks like fun! Great grinder. If you are lucky you can split the cost with a friend. Lucky you are getting deer. Guys are not having a lot of luck up here. Nice to see you again, Andy

Nice review bud. It's about $200 to the butcher plus extras for sausage . I have never done sausage before. Hope your doing a sausage vid using the machine. I'll check up here and see if it goes on sale this week. Thanks Andy.

I set off to Cabela's once to get the 3/4 hp model because they were on sale at the time. When I got to the store, the 1 hp model was mistakenly marked for the same price as the 3/4 model. I got the bigger one on the pricing error, but I regret it. It's just too big for my needs, and it's a huge pain in the butt to get out of the basement. I literally takes me longer to assemble it than it takes to grind 30 pound of meat. If I had to do it over again, I would go with one of the smaller units.

I got a meat grinder too but that one is a beast. Keep Moose away from it so he doesn't feed it marbles or ammo. Cheers =)

It is a little expensive but it's an investment. It paid for itself last year, and this year it's just a bonus.

Mine ran kinda slow for the first few seconds on first time then took off. Anyone else have the same experience?
