I think they only used her shape to get the recording they had on Neuman and Homelander. The assassin would have to appear human otherwise it would not help Supes.

The last 2 season of the show have dropped about every two years so probably mid 2026 since they're not shooting S5 until later this year through the middle of 2025. I definitely feel like Homelander has to die at some point before the series is over. Unsure about Soldier Boy but it'd be cool if he was brought back next season.

Great review again and really charged cool episode. And yeah the deep and Noir should had die right there lol thats a miss that i hope it pays off well for the boys team later cuz if not its gonna be a lame mistake haha sad it gets this good by the end (only one more to go) and we are gonna have to wait for the next season...

I do think that this season is a build up for next season that is why it is not following any major storyline except virus . I was a bit disappointed by last 3 episodes and felt like only good episode for episode 4 . I always defend boys but this season is very hard to defend . Any reason to like this season Tyler .

How do these characters always seem to know if whatever virus strain 🦠 is strong enough to kill Homelander or not ? Am I missing something? It’s never explained 🤷‍♂️

I guess a large part of it probably is just believing whatever Sameer has been saying to them. Frenchie at least has some knowledge of how some of the stuff works but he's not a scientist or anything like Sameer lol

Even tho I agree that Frenchie and kimkio stories are the weakest in this season I still love them, I also loved the butcher, joe and Ryan stuff in the episode. A train and mm scene was good. I almost throw up at the webweaver scene that shit was nasty. R.I.p the octopus

A-Train took the perfect opportunity to ran away from Vought with his family after he's been exposed as the leak in this season (sadly Ashley decided to stay) just like with Queen Maeve back in season 3. I don't know what will happen to him if he decide to back up The Boys or leave the scene for good; but if the latter happens, I predict he will become an actual hero saving actual lives, and that will certainly prove his brother and nephews which will fully complete his redemption on a satisfactory note :). And I'm very glad Butcher got hope for Ryan, the thing I don't want to see Butcher is ending up like his comic counterpart where he killed almost everyone. I just hope he has enough strength to fight off Kessler, considering he acts like The Butcher from the comics. I don't think Kessler can control his body, at least I hope not. He already got virus to weaken Homelander which The Boys can use for the finale. Also Vicky isn't going to be happy to The Boys after what Butcher done to Sameer. I wonder where will Sage go after she's been kicked out by Homelander. She did leave her notebook which might be useful for The Seven to continue Her and Homelander's plan. She still is working with the Shapeshifter to steal info. I'm guessing she might be sending the info to either Neuman or Homelander, most likely Neuman. Even though she and Homelander may have similar goals, I still think she still has her own goal, which I'm guessing she will be taking Neuman's side at the end. The Season 4 finale will likely playing off the presidential assassination and saving Starlight for both a plot and b plot. There's only a few scenes from the trailer what could be episode 8, with Firecracker shooting someone at his back, and maybe Hughie's monologue about Violence isn't Brave (correct me if I'm wrong). Poor Hughie, he suffered the worst this season :(

I wouldn't call it mid but it's been up and down quality wise more than earlier seasons plus I just think Season 3 was so good it's hard to top it. As for Maeve she chose to fake her death and lives a normal life now since she lost her powers fighting Soldier Boy so I don't see any reason for her to really come back.

I love the show and this season is good. But this episode just sucked. And yeah I agree. Definitely feels like they are wrapping everything up. Christmas pun intended.
