The texture alone never mind the taste would be vastly difference. Not to mention one would need the skill of a chef who is good at carving to make octopus looks like a blooming onion. The labor alone is not worth putting it on a menu unless it's one of those 5 stars restaurant.

Fun fact Homelander cant see through zinc and the duct vent that Hughie was hiding in was made out of Zinc hense why Homelander couldn't see where Hughie was and was just lasering everything. Also ironically A-Trains first sav is Hughie.

I think y'all missed one little thing here, from the end commentary - it was NOT Homelander's decision to take Ashley down as CEO. That was totally Sage's call. Notice when Ashley asks, "Am I fired?" Homelander LOOKS TO SAGE, who says no, and then HE says, no, she's not fired. Sage is dangerously powerful at this point. She has Homelander looking to her for direction and making the shots she calls.

Black Noir II being narcoleptic is hilarious, I love everything about the character so much 😂 the last 3 seasons and now. He's been one of my favourites ❤

My favorite part of that scene is that in an old interview with the cast, they said that Nathan (Noir’s actor) had a habit of falling asleep on set 😂

Antony Starr is great. His facial expressions of rage and anger is what I enjoyed so much from his role on Banshee, which I might have mentioned that I feel you should react to!

I love that you guys actually took what happened to Firecracker seriously. Trauma like public humiliation and having to quit what you love during your developmental years follows you. The victim never forgets. So many other reactors just laugh it off or say she deserved it (she was a child at the time so wtf??) and it rubs me the wrong way. I went through a similar event at 14 and even after moving past it, I’ll always remember it. So she absolutely sucks as an adult, but no CHILD deserves that, and I fail to see what’s to funny about it to so many other reactors. Your guys’ empathy and emotional intelligence is so refreshing ❤

I agree but it also goes for both Starlight and Firecracker. Thew were both young, impressionable. Both victims, Annie from her mom teaching her to be ruthless and Firecracker by Annie and her own parents who put her in the pageant circuit. The one getting bullied always remembers, as it is llife changing and the one bulling usually forgets cuz they either don't want to remember from guilt or it was inconsequential to them.

I do feel for Annie as well, but I don’t like how she always has an excuse for her mistakes instead of just owning up to them (with Firecracker, it was how her mom taught her to be ruthless; with the hostages in her first save, it was because she couldn’t control her powers, etc.) I guess I just expected her to take accountability immediately because clearly she HAS grown and has a good heart. It makes for a good arc for her character though, so I’m totally here for it.

I can totally understand the initial belief it might be the octopus though that never occurred to me when I watched it. But running with that idea so confidently kinda surprised me. Deep would be able to tell he's not eating fried onion, I'd think. But even if you ignore that, it is one thing to have a theory but all your dialogue was as though you already had it confirmed and it was a guaranteed fact. So much so that you even kinda gave Dave crap for even considering that maybe, just maybe, it is uncertain at the very least. You even established theories of how Sage behaves based off the fact she tricked Deep into eating the octopus even though there's not yet any reason to be certain that happened.

I just recently found out that Firecracker has a small role in Breaking Dawn, part 2. She played Charlotte (not sure if they mentioned her name in the movie), who was one of the nomad friends of Jasper who came to help against the Volturi. I don’t even think she had any speaking lines.

Oak saying the Acetylene torch was probably as bad as it gets… just you wait for episode 4 :)

The conversations Butcher has with Joe Kessler about if he could "train his boy up to kill" is a nod to JDM's role in Supernatural (another Eric Kripke show) as Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) Winchester's father, John Winchester - who trained the two of them from a young age to fight Cryptids and Demons and such.

Until we see JDM talk yo someone else, I wont be convinced he isnt imaginary. The devil on Butcher's shoulder (with Becka being the angel) so to speak

Jeffrey Dean Morgan is the best in every show or movie he's been in!!

I don't get why some people don't like season 4. It's pretty much building up everyones backstory for the final season 5. I think it got political for some people and some can't just shut off their own Agenda and watch something to widen their horizon... (which makes sense when you watch the negative comments). It's as they just realized now, they are part of the Satire.... Season 4 so far is on pair with the others. I cant see any flaws in writing, directing or acting.

I'm usually really good with gore and don't really react poorly but that ice skating scene made my fingers hurt, everytime i see ice skating i imagine something as fucked up as that so it made it a bit too real for me i actually winced a bit 🤣🤣

Kripke said Ryan was originally just a side character but the actor came thru hard. Waiting for y'all to react to Boy Kills World, where he plays young Bill Skarsgard.😊

This probably isn't a new theory by any means but I don't think JDM's character is actually there. No one else has seen him or spoken with him. We know Butcher is seeing Becca... I think JDM is a real person from his past who is also dead. He's the devil on Butcher's shoulder to Becca's angel. Becca's line is "save Ryan" while Kessler's line is "use Ryan" - he's the voice of Butcher's continued vendetta, while she is the voice of his conscience. We'll see but I am like 99% sure this will turn out to be true.

The next episode is in my opinion is The Boys' version of "Pine Barrens" from The Sopranos or "Ozymandias" from Breaking Bad. Antony Starr is just on another level as Homelander and if he doesn't get an Emmy for that performance then he's been robbed again.

Guys, is this a plot point or a mistake by the riders? Homelander has X-Ray vision, but he could not see Huie through the vents? I mean, he was right under the vents several times throughout the chase, and beamed up into the vents several times, but he could not see Huie through them? Like I said, a mistake by the writers, OR, can Homelander not see through Aluminum. . . . . 🤔

It was established early in the series Homelander cannot see through zinc so the theory I've been seeing online is the vents have zinc in them and Homelander was having to guess a bit on where to shoot based on sound. Not sure if the show actually confirmed anywhere that the vents contained zinc but would make sense and explain that issue.

HVAC ductwork has two sided layers of zinc according to a search. On wiki his X-Ray vision is described as "low energy photon x-ray vision" and he can be blinded by bright light.

You should look carefully again at that thing on the table. It's not what you think it is.

I agree. Trailers are overrated, and literally spoil at least about half of the season/ movie. The only trailer I approve of is the Kingsmen (the first movie). That trailer was well made, and played a classical song, but too bad it wasn't played again in the movie
