I can’t imagine how scary this would be, you’re in the middle of the night minding your own business when someone who’s supposed to be a hero beats you to death, or having to watch in the back as a family member you love is beat to death right in front of your eyes by that very hero you’re supposed to admire. Then, after years of fear and then finally thinking she’s gone, she shows up out of the blue and you pray that she doesn’t hunt you down. The scene is awful but, at the same time, the writing for it and the way they filmed it is genius.
