About The Boys: THE BOYS is an irreverent take on what happens when superheroes, who are as popular as celebrities, as influential as politicians and as revered as Gods, abuse their superpowers rather than use them for good. It's the powerless against the super powerful as The Boys embark on a heroic quest to expose the truth about “The Seven,” and their formidable Vought backing.

Very similar to captain America and Superman in the DCEU & MCU. Cap was initially just a glorified celebrity who was just a propaganda tool. Superman Is viewed as a god by man and is also feared by many. The characters are very similar except their circumstances are flipped. Soldier boy abused & was Taken out by his team , and was handed over to the Reds. Cap was loyal to his team and even went through the lengths of breaking the rules to save them. In the end he gave his life in the war against the defected nazi organization hydra.

I still think there’s going to be a reveal that Noir was Stan Edgar’s brother. Maybe Stan grew up with a chip on his shoulder that his little brother got super powers so he started working for the company that controls supes. And maybe that’s why Noir remains in The Seven, despite the fact that he’s now mute and too disfigured to even take off the mask. When you think about when this scene takes place, both of them would’ve been born during the Civil Rights Movement, which logically would’ve been when Vought started giving Compound V to black babies. Maybe Stan was too old, but his little brother just made the cut.
You can tell how uncomfortable and awkward Soldier Boy gets in 4:05 - 4:13 Him and Homelander have their moments where you can see their humorous unbreakable strongman facade break it’s amazing to watch

He really was omg and his voice 😭 🩷 adorable
2:31 Lol. Why's no one talking about the Spanish version of Wake me Up before you go go?
I love how Soldier Boy was about to blow away Gunpowder with the back last of that Carl Gustav, since he was standing right behind him and didn’t even consider moving
Pls brink back Black Noir like knowing his past and how Soldier Boy tortured him it's just so sad and how he dies because of Homelander while he thought they were on it together :(
Edgar was clearly eating those in front of Noir to imply he can easily take him down with just one little snack if he disobeys.
Black Noir unmasked then Perma masked afterwards.
The very end of that whenever he got put down you can see the homelander in him so bad
That reminds me of a Black Falcon sketch from Key&Peele
Noir without the mask is so bizarre to see
Who knew black noir not wanting to wear the mask would be the biggest mistake of his life..
One thing I thought that the show was going to do was use the shoes can’t die thing. Yeah they can get reduced to atoms and that could be considered a death but a common regular death a headshot or being disembowel they just come back as a Helen Keller.
What she said got to Soldier Boy’s head frfr.
In the comics Black Noir is a clone of Homelander.

you would be surprised the amount of people who dont know this and would probably blow a gasket if there was ever a reiteration of black noir that wasn't a black dude if unmasked. @@Alteori
Mallory having the stress of being the only adult in the room.
I have never watched this series…maybe I should give it a watch.
Young Stan Edgar looks like he builds PC for capital One in his free time.
The mask could have saved Noirs skull from getting slit open like the Red Sea
I’m absolutely in love with this universe
Supposedly this actor playing noir will be playing him in either season 4 or 5. One of the creators kinda hinted at that.
3:04 17 years old !? Wtf?!
Soldier Boy is awesome with his old lines like “Captain Les**”🤣
i wish i knew all the shows clipped at the end
