i think his flame and fire aspect weapons were a really smart choice on his part, even landing one hit on a couple people can quickly thin a herd of enemies because many players' first instinct is to run to water. looking forward to more rampages now that he's on red!

No, Scar dealt a lot of damage to the horde before dieing. That's one of the main reasons Gem was already at low hearts when he accidentally killed her, he also dealt a lot of damage to Impulse and some other boogies.

What's weird though is Skizz made the exact same joke in episode 6. Wording and all.

I kinda saw this coming, Joel on red life, but he is one of the strongest PvP players and the fact that it took all 9 of them to kill him and right after he goes on a kills 2 more of them shows how big of a treat he is.

The secret keeper has a sense of humour lol. giving this task to joel, the short man, implying he needs an additional block to be able to speak to other players.

It was nice seeing Joel go back to his old habit of killing horses

joel youre so stacked this season i genuinely think you stand a very solid chance at winning LMAO AND jimmys hunger games predicted it

i love how joel tried to get fire aspect 2 and then got a fire aspect 1 book and didn't notice he acually got the fire aspet 2 enchantment on his sword in the enchanting table 18:15 - 18:30 happy he noticed it later on :)

Joel's zombies was a good idea, but a bad execution XD He lost more hearts from the zombies than from Etho and the others LOL

I feel like Joel's task this session should have been a hard task, it felt impossible to always keep track of. Similar to always doing the opposite of what people say, there was sometimes some really hard tasks that definitely should not have been given before a re-roll, that's just me though. I'm surprised you lasted as long as you did, Joel. Great job on that :)

yeah, i suspected he'd fail the task if he wasn't incredibly careful about speaking to people who weren't in his line of sight. one workaround he could've had would be to pretend he's muted and not reply to them until he can see that they are lower down than him, but it would be a lot of work for a normal level task.

I like to think that Joel edited out the part when he fell down at the beginning taking damage because he was embarrassed

The Boogieman curse really became the highlight and bane of so many people this session, huh!

For example, if you’ve experienced betrayals in past life series, act as though they just happened. If you had past partnerships/teams, use this. You could also use past bits/running jokes. Additionally, you could bring up things like the boogyman, time running out, or soulmates as if these are currently in effect. You must engage with other players while experiencing these episodes. If someone mentions that you are bringing up old events, act confused/disoriented/in denial. (Normal): You can’t use the letter M

@@Theaeretical I mean he got to episode 8 in 3rd life and episode 9 in last life. Double life lasted only 6 episodes. Joel did go out in episode 7 of limited life. Secret Life isn’t really his longest life series.

I imagine it will still last 9 or 10 episodes, but honestly yeah before this session it looked like it could go longer- im guessing this task was an artificial way to speed things up to either keep length similar as scheduling this many people consistently can get tough as the series gets longer or simply due to miscalculating the effect of no regen, people were falling to red rather slow compared to other times

This was an amazing session. My favorite part of the life series is when it gets toward the end and everyone gets hungry for blood, it is so chaotic and fun to watch.

All the hype for this session I had to wait for Joel’s vid to come out! Loving this season

Spawn eggs in the life series is definitely the most entertaining addition 😂

*10:26* Joel's unadulterated hatred for that horse was absolutely hilarious not gonna lie, especially as a way to avenge Jimmy. *35:35* Also I find it very funny how much like a Karen Gem sounds here, with that hilariously high pitched voice and also insulting Scar with very Karen-like insults.

task idea: first half: someone is following you and you have to figure out who it is. you only have two guesses. if you don't guess who it is in the first half of the session, you fail. second half: you are following someone. they know they are being followed but don't know its you. you have to go undetected by them for the first half of the session. if they don't call you out on it, you succeed.

if you throw thorns armor into the zombie spawner, somebody will get a surprise when trying to use it

Red Task idea: Your target is whoever's name you hear first after you read this task. You can attack them until they say the word "stop." You succeed if they say "stop" or if they get killed.

Task idea: you get to choose another player (who has NOT completed their task yet) and you have to do that same task as well. You are allowed to throw them your book to show them so they can tell you theirs. This will not count as either of you failing your task by telling one another. Neither of you can use the yellow name ability to call one another out or get another yellow name to do so.

Task idea (Your task is now my property) You must Punch a person who has not yet completed their task, to swap your task with their task Now you have to try to complete their task And they have to try to swap this task with someone else This game of swapping continues until the end of session The person who has this task at the end of session has to reroll for a harder task next session and has to get punched by everyon who had their task swapped this session

This session was crazy, it seems like things are really starting to heat up!

Ok, this task idea is pretty devastating, but considering we just had an apocalypse that killed nearly every player, it seems a bit more reasonable. Red Task Idea (because the pool seems pretty small rn): You must kill 3 people this session, of your choosing. But you must kill at least one red life. If you succeed, the deaths count. If you cannot kill 3 people, or you die, the deaths do not count, and the players you killed are manually reset to the health they were on at the beginning of the session. You cannot reroll this task. Now, this might be complicated to implement, but i think it could be interesting because it could theoretically bring a dead player back to life, which has never (legally) happened in the life series before.

Joel reminds of the one character from apocalypse movies telling everyone to stay clam and dies not long after

Task idea: you're now scared of the dark, you must avoid every dark spot, including caves, the outside during night, dark tunnels and ect. you complete the task if you manage to avoid the dark as much as possible.

Well idk if this is my suggestion since i requested the plague idea and absolutely loved it! Anyways here is some tasks! Tasks: Knight and Shining Bodyguard -You are appointed a knight to protect [Player Name]. You must protect them at all cost and if they die, you fail. Drinking Red Blood -You are tired of the Red names and its time to bring Revenge. Kill a Red name in any means necessary, but if you are killed by a red name or a red name kills someone before you do your task, you fail. Red Tasks: Alpha Wolf -Kill someone with a wolf. Breaking Bad -Kill someone while they have 3 potion effects on them. Barber Menace -Kill someone witha pair of shears.

Anyone else felt nostalgic when Joel starts killing horses? 20:16 AND there's another deja vu.

You should rebuild Lizzie's house and put a zombie spawner (or several zombie spawners) inside it and leave doors and windows open so they roam, and pm Grian to set something up with a resource pack that downloads when you join the server or something so the zombies look like green Lizzies, and if that works out do the same to Mumbo's house and the others who have died like the custom villagers however they worked in Empires, just zombies everywhere and they look like friends who have passed.

I'm really enjoying the start of this week's videos, where everyone is carrying on as normal, doing their best to succeed in their tasks, with no idea that, by the end of the session those tasks would be irrelevant for most of them😂 It's fun to watch the normality unravel!

Task idea: The floor is lava for your entire session. You cannot stand on any grass, netherrack, or endstone. If you are reading this book while standing on one of these blocks, go stand on a new block, and then your task begins. Beware of spawn protection.
