I loved watching Elwood dance
Definitely one of my favorite movies. There was never a dull moment in the whole movie. There were lots of stars, too 😊
Akroyd & Belushi were a magical power duo, the band had an all-star lineup, and the supporting cast was made up of legends. This was one of the most badass movies ever made.

this movie was a love letter to the blues and the legendary performers who came together to make this a reality.
I loved this film when I first saw it back in the 80's. What really amazed me later is the cast of MASSIVE musicians they managed to get on the film!!! Stunning!!!

I'm from Europe. I didn't know until recently there were many famous musicians cast in the movie. It makes it even more impressive. I also remember playing the game on C64.

I keep thinking: "they were just kids! Imagine getting to meet such musical legends so very young!" I can imagine Dan Akroyd looks back on this and just cant believe how lucky he was. ❤
National Treasure of a film. Belushi at his best, Aykroyd could do no wrong.
I grew up watching this movie, this is an all time classic.

this movie is already longer than most comedy films i’ve seen, but everytime i remember it was originally going to be longer, it blows my mind. aykroyd was and still is a creative comedic force to be reckoned with, especially when it comes to his scripts

I grew up in Elmhurst, one of Chicago’s western suburbs, and have lived 7 different states since I left Illinois. But Sweet Home Chicago reminds me I’m one of a select group of Americans, those of us who are from Chi-Town!

The joy, the energy and the groove of Dan is one of a kind, such a multi talented person.
This hands down was one of the best movies made, never a dull moment.

If they ever re-did these movies, the actors and singers that would be in it wouldn't be as good
I remember seeing the Blues Brothers on SNL and thinking they were awesome... And then when I heard they were coming out with a movie, I couldn't wait to see it. The driving through the mall scene was so hilarious. Great characters, great movie.

I remember randomly coming across this movie while scrolling through TV channels one day, and boy was I not prepared to immediately fall in love with this film, LOL! This scene is my favorite. I get goosebumps every time when the crowd starts singing, "You, you, you!" during "Everybody Needs Somebody to Love."

Many many years ago I had the pleasure of seeing The Blues Brothers at Merriweather Post Pavillion, Columbia MD. I had the most entertaining event in my life and when John Belushi did the cartwheel, I never laughed and smiled so gard in my life.

Belushi was a gymnast at Illinoi. The band was Booker T and the MG's band..Cropper, Duck Dunn, Blue Lou..all legendary.
My four Chicago granddaughters have never seen the Blues Brothers--terrible lapse in their educations, but I intend to make it right.
I wish they still made great funny movies like this....
Great movie and has great talents, RIP for whom we lost. It is one classical movie that a person never gets bored of watching. I love to watch it from time to time. Movies these days are not as good as these.

Me and my dad have a very difficult relationship, but I have a few good memories. One is of dancing to this as a 4 or 5 year old in Disney world when "The Blues Brothers" randomly drove up and started performing. I've got a video of it. My father LOVED The Blues Brothers, so it was really important to him. I didn't know them at that age. It was special to me because of that moment with my dad

Dan Aykroyd was writing Ghostbusters the day John Belushi passed, Belushi was supposed to be in Ghostbusters.
best film, great blues, brilliant musicians and comedy all rolled into one, what more can you ask for

This original movie came out in 1982. This is classic. John Belushi & Dan Ackeroid ! This was just before John OD or just after. I was 22 in 1982. Never gets old and I’m 64 now and listening with AirPods in my ears. The best ever !
