What casino's fail to understand is that it is a universal rule that people value cute girls over money. Sure, I could spend money and I MIGHT get more money back, OR I could spend money and I'm practically guaranteed to get a .png of a cute anime girl. It's business 101 here people, come on.

seeing you talk about this reminds me of the arcade at a mall i usually go to buy gunola. they removed the Taiko game, and a lot of other fun games. now it has an old street fighter that doesnt even connect so you cant play against a friend, and a bunch of super old racing games.

Last year, i went to Japan, and boi was it arcade heaven! You said everything that i needed to say about it! And yes, i love Ongeki! One more thing you forgot to mention about it is that it has a story, except I am forced to read it raw! I am not on that level of understanding Japanese yet!

Welcome to Japari Park IS a banger and when I first heard it I also had it stuck in my head. Arcades are such a big thing in Japan it's crazy. Also the pachinko cabinets are just as mind blowing with machines featuring one of Japan's biggest franchises, Kamen Rider.

Shame this video doesn't have more attention, it's one of my favorites on KZread and I come back to watch it every now and then. Have you considered going back to shoot a sequel to cover more rhythm games?

The famous past times of the simp king!! Now you HAVE to invite the harem to go with you on your next trip!! But seriously the only time I get to play any these those games are during some of the cons here in michigan and even then it's like twice a year. I crave the rhythm!!

A chain of arcades from Japan are here in the states called round one and they do have current Japanese arcade cabinets like sf5 arcade edition, tekken 7, unist, groove coaster, gitorda etc... and they sell the cards that you can use to register an account so Im able to unlock new songs in gitorda, and track my progress as well as play online is sf5 arcade. Its only in a few states and I worry for its future with caronavirus but I love that arcade.

Back when i went to Momocon last year that was when i discovered and played Japanese arcade games. I recognized a few of those you mentioned like MaiMai and that piano one and Japari Park was also stuck in my head. This makes me interested in Ongeki and that Kancolle arcade game. I didn't know they had physical card printers!

They have indeed! I'd really love to play Kancolle Arcade since I'm a fan of the original browser game since 2015, and the Arcade version's been out since 2016. I wish they'd port it to home consoles someday...

As someone who lived in Japan for a couple years, you aren't kidding about the sensory overload in Japanese arcades. Those places got more bright colors than an seven-year-old girl's birthday party, with flashing lights everywhere, with so much chaotic noise that it's like walking into ten rock concerts at the same time (only no rock music). And that's not even talking about Pachinko arcades which are like five times louder...
