INSANE JAPANESE ARCADE GAME TIME!! 😲😨 | Arcade with tokaku #2

Ойындар

Back to playing Sound Voltex in the arcade again! After so long, I'm finally giving an update to the arcade games playlist. Like last time, I'm going against the INF dan course on SDVX. Because dan courses are fun to edit. Also, arcade tour!
Timestamps:
00:00 - Arcade tour
02:03 - New Valkyrie Model cabinet!
02:57 - What is a dan course?
04:17 - Unlocking the last song I need
06:39 - Infinite dan attempt(s) time!
13:47 - Out of the arcade
Also sorry for the kinda bad looking footage when I was walking around. My hands were really shaky so I had to apply warp stabilizer on premiere pro and that makes the footage zoom in (losing quality) and warp a little funny at some points. I should get a proper camera with image stabilisation sometime...

I'm actually still on my break! I'm not supposed to be 'working' LOL but to be honest, making videos is my hobby and it's what I do to relax or have fun sometimes. So I made a video that I know I'd enjoy making and never got to because well... I usually had to prioritise other videos first because these are really unpopular. F views and money. But hey, I'll still make these because it's what I enjoy and do when... I can really take a break? Hope you guys enjoyed! It's a shame that isn't even harder to hear the game and all that over all the super noisy arcade especially compared to the last video. The new arcade really needs to turn the volume of ALL their machines down.

Honestly, I really enjoy these videos! Being from the USA, non-DDR Bemani machines are sometimes a rarity, and your first arcade vlog was what made me seek out a Round 1 and try SDVX as well as all of the other awesome Bemani/rhythm games out there (Gitadora, IIDX, Wacca, etc.). Thanks for sharing your acade experience and congrats on INF Dan!

2:38 The PIN numpad is jumbled up presumably to prevent heat readings from being read from the screen, to which you can somewhat decipher someone's pin. Still kinda useless (as you said) if people use 1-2-3-4 anyways, but its probably just so they can get past any troubles of people trying to attempt that form of attack vector. Related side note/story: There was a person I heard of in a high security research facility or something along those lines, and they were positioned as a guard for one of the main doors. The door was magnetically shut, and could pretty much be only opened electronically. The 7/8(?) digit PIN they were given every week or something like that (because they constantly change the PIN for security reasons again) that they had to enter in to the numpad was always hard to input, because they would jumble the screen positions of the numbers when you woke the thing up to prevent heat signature attacks on the screen.

Was watching this on the TV and my wife said she was going to go there specifically for the minions machine, loved the video! You were right about the PIN pad numbers moving, That is exactly why they move them. Partly so people can't see you type it in, but also so they can't look at the grease marks left by your fingers and use those two things together to work out your PIN. It's a neat security feature. You arcade is great! I wish I had something like that here in the UK. But sadly arcades are all but dead here since the Trocadero and South Bank Namco closed in London.

Better speakers, easy customization of settings with the touchscreen and well the 120hz refresh rate speaks for itself. I wanna plan on the new cabinets sooo bad! My arcade only has a Heavenly Haven and Vivid Wave machine, and both of them are in rough shape.

I rarely play music games so you can't laugh at me lol but still it's interesting to know about these games

I went to an arcade with sound voltex for the first time today, I cleared up to I think 8 dan (15-16) just barely with 3.4% health left. Was a lot of fun and the buttons felt a bit smaller than i'm used to so that didn't help too much lol

It’s crazy that I was able to get a similar experience to this at my local Round1 location. The only difference was that there are no Taiko machines for some reason. But besides that, they had tons of rhythm games, fighting games, and even Tetris: The Grandmaster.
