as games become more dynamic & cater to specific fans, (platformer fans, rpg fans, etc), the shared classics we enjoyed as children start to show up less & less. Most of the best game music isn't being ignored, it's just being appreciated by smaller groups of people. The tohou community has their own favorite songs within that community, but I doubt the everyday joe has heard of Bad Apple.

I guess that most of Sega's games and soundtracks are very underrated. Not just Jet Set Radio, but also Ristar, House of the Dead, Space Channel 5, Super Monkey Ball, Samba de Amigo, Shenmue, Billy Hatcher and the Giant Egg, Streets of Rage, Fantazy Zone, Space Harrier, Out Run, After Burner, Phantasy Star, Virtua Fighter, NiGHTS, Panzer Dragoon, Skies of Arcadia, Crazy Taxi, Golden Axe, Shining Force, Alex Kidd, and many many others. Does anyone recognize any of those? Most of them got banger soundtracks. It's a shame that not many have heard of them I guess

Gravity Rush is super underrated as a series. Not incredible, but it's a breath of fresh air and so enjoyable. Just beat the second one two days ago, and I love it.

Yeah , all of Tenshi's theme are amazing , Bhava-agra as seen through a child's eye is probably my favourite of the bunch , followed closely by Oriental sky of scarlet perception

Gravity rush really was something. Ill never forget how excited I was in the end, when I finished it. It may not be the best game I've ever played, but it sure is one of my favourites

the Gamecube's version of Custom Robo has some great ost especially the Haeven track. Also Metal Arms: Glitch in the System has some good bops too, like it's title music. Great vid by the way, love your work!

Gurumin: A Monstrous Adventure has one of my favorite video game soundtracks

Falcom games such as the trails or ys series have a really underrated soundtrack in my opinion, I started to play some of their titles some months ago and the soundtrack for me is just amazing.

It’s so nice to see Gravity Rush 1 and 2 receive more recognition! You earned a sub from me! The soundtracks are so damn good, my personal fav is Lei Colmosna hands down!

I love how you used the Blood Drain remix for the Uni clr segment, a song originally composed for Melty Blood (which also has an absolutely fire soundtrack.) Same composer for both series so it makes sense. Been seeing this video in my recommended for a bit and finally thought "why not?" Was pretty good even if I knew most of the games mentioned (Gravity Rush was robbed of its rightful recognition in this timeline). Always nice to hear people passionate about VGM talk about it.

YEEEEEEEES UNDER NIGHT IN-BIRTH! Under Night isn't recognized nearly enough as it should, it's AMAZING, gameplay and especially soundtrack. I got so hyped when you brought it up because I was about to talk about it here if you didn't. Nearly all of its tracks are absolutely amazing. My favorites would have to be Eltnum's theme, which is the one you played, and Cross Thought (Gordeau vs Chaos). Maybe someday I'll see an Under Night In-Birth video from you...one can only dream.

I have a reccomendation!! Look up the Abzu OST! Austin Wintory wrote it to capture both the ehtereal spirit of the ocean and the mysticism of ancient mesopotamian culture, and it's just ungODLY beautiful! Look up "Balaenoptera Musculus" or "Then Were Created the Gods in the Midst of Heaven", I cannot emotionally get over either of those

The soundtrack for Skies of Arcadia is what started me on my musical journey - I'd listen to it for hours on end and always hear something new, it challenged me to grow as a musician. Parasite Eve.... that soundtrack is so GOOD! Great action fighting themes. Captures the strategic feel to it, and many times scary events Oni (2002 bungi game) really captures that cyberpunk futuristic vibe
