Yes, I’m _sure_ “Terrorism: A Very Short Introduction” is an instructional book, rather than an academic one. The author even brazenly put his name on it to brag that he feels untouchable by the authorities!
From South of Brazil I congratulate you for this channel, thanks!
Moments prior...at the COP CAVE: "Alright boys, we roughed up an elderly professor protecting students from us. What can we use as a smokescreen?" "This book sounds scary, and colleges have books-" "And so do students!! Brilliant! You're going to be on TV!"

Exactly, we don't want to conflate the nation of israel with jews abroad. Though to be fair a LOT of Israeli are genocidal. Abby Martin did a man on the street tour, and the stuff that came out of their mouths on camera is mind boggling. She talked about not having to interview anyone that didn't make it into the documentary. She was trying to find moderate views and the moderate views is deportation (ie ethnic cleansing) os all arabs in "greater Israel" which includes a lot more landmass than the current state as its a bible depiction from 2500 years ago.
Students in the US has about the same right to protest as women in Iran
Actually a good book
Do the NYPD got to Israel for training, a number of American police forces do and that would explain a lot.
it is an academic book. If someone was reading a book called Rape - does that make them a rapist? feminists might beg to differ, Here is an abstract of the book terrorism 'Abstract Terrorism: A Very Short Introduction examines the historical, ideological, and local roots of terrorist violence and explores terrorism in relation to revolutionary power, nationalism, and religious extremism. How does terrorism end? Is one person's terrorist another's freedom fighter? Is terrorism crime or war? For many, the terrorist attacks of September 2001 changed the face of the world, pushing terrorism to the top of many political agendas, leading to a series of world events including the war in Iraq and the invasion of Afghanistan. This VSI considers complex issues related to the successes of specific terrorist and anti-terrorist campaigns in the distant past, and in recent years.' Cops are stupid and they think we are too
Arrest the socalled "Cops"!
What an absolutely shame! 👹
Quite rediculous, indeed!! Infantile
The book was written by Prof. Charles Townshend of the fellows of the British Academy, shouldn't that have raised some questions, just by the author name? I can't believe the laziness, as much as the stupidity. Now should they not launch an investigation into this author, rather than the readers? EDIT: The NYPD doesn't seem to understand how books work. This might as well be the first time this cop held a book in his hands. And the host said: 'Wow' in awe.

You can see with a two second glance that it's an educational text book. I'm quite sure officer Dibble wouldn't have known that though. For the media to go along with that for any reason other than to let him make himself look a Walton tv is unforgivable.

I thought that cop had been trained by the IDF media team. It would be funny if it wasn't tragic.
How dare a university student read a book 📚 or discuss it 😮
What worse is they likely planted the book themselves.
The NYPD trained and managed by the IDF.
Its getting every time crazier
Isn't this the same as the calendar the I D F found in the hospital.
This shows that the members of NYPD are literate, at least they could read the title but not very educated!
If a bully ever bullies you, and then cries victim when you beat him up, that person has more problems than he is aware of.
The old trope of if you just talk or discuss something you 'automatically' somehow approve of it or are planning to actually do the thing being discussed?
What a monster does this society give birth to this policeman???
It is funny But in Australia the new laws will have one locked up for life on a whim. If you are Muslim you have to be very careful.
I wonder if the black police guy ever read uncle tom's cabin?...

Nobody ever won a prize trying to under-estimate the intelligence of the U.S. police.

This is stunning. It should be hilarious really but this is actually the police.
I've got that book. I guess I must be a teerrist.
We're at the point where the media can hold up a real book, claim whatever they want about it, and know that no one listening is likely to take 3 seconds to type the title into a search engine and find out that they're being lied to.
❤❤Michael and your team❤❤ I will never forget your outstanding journalism covering on Israel/Gaza when the media mainstream keep saying what they are told to say! Israel is entering Rafah! They lost the plot and the war! But well done for sticking to the truth!
The fact that this was on Newsmax might explain the ludicrousness a bit... I mean, is this guy even a real cop? Wouldn't put it past them. 🙄

Get the feeling that my copy of "very short introduction to Human Rights" could be spun into a dastardly plot of how I plan to undermine someone's Human Rights. I also submit that whichever media outlet broadcast that nonsense should start each segment with the title "A very short indoctrination..."
They need to remember how their country was founded! The founding fathers were considered “Terrorists” at one point.

Strewth, the ignorance of the American establishment is truly worrying.
8 billion $ ++++ New York City police budget. How is it being used.
I've been to classes with criminal justice majors and while most that i have met are righteous people truely believing that as a cop they can help people I'll admit that to them as a whole a book is a strange implement of a foreign culture. I had fun helping one in a literature course and in exchange he enlightened me about Criminal Justice coursework and protocols. Abstract thought does however seem to be 'a closedbook'.
"Erosion of civil liberties", eh? 😆😆😆
