@@escfxp The 2000 negotiation failed because it reduced the Palestinian state to essentially an Indian reservation American style, a rump state with no independence. They didn’t even have their own water. I know because I followed it in the news at the time and figured it would have no chance of success. Stop falling for obvious gaslighting.

Israel has just always tried to push the negotiations in impossible territory where they know that the palestinians would never accept it. Arafat was on the record saying he would be assassinated if he accepted that deal. To give you an idea of how ridiculous the proposal was at the time. And now they want to say that in hindsight they shouldve accepted it, when it was completely unacceptable back in the day

Negotiate in bad faith by making unrealistic demands and have no intention of actually following thru on the terms of the agreement, all while daddy America provides cover and blames the other side for why there isn’t an agreement. The whole world knows it’s in Netanyahu’s interest to continue the war because he’d be out of office if a ceasefire is in place. Yet we’re all being gaslight by the US government and establishment media that it’s Hamas being intransigent in the negotiations.
