should you make roof acute angle to stop snow debris collecting weight on structure

The only thing I see that could be fixed is to put blocks under one side of roof to create an angle

It appears to be a be a very old tree..maybe even 200 years old? Unfortunately it's no longer alive so why build on it as opposed to a live healthy tree? how long will it last will it not rot and fall over taking with it all your hard work...

We are symbiotic with the trees. If all the trees on the face of the earth vanished in an instant, we would almost immediately die right after them. I don't know how I feel about all of this. You're building something cool but damn that's a lot of damage to the tree. I'd rather see a treehouse built to work with the tree more than harm it so much just so it could be there.

Tree was already dead
