WOW! Gorgeous stone work. Love how the chimney goes along one side of the wall inside the house. Is that so you can make sleeping quarters above the chimney to keep warm throughout the nights? Great idea. Your "assistant" the winch and pulley system is awesome as well. The bent tree becoming a window is lovely. Hope you make a further video showing the final product!

wow, wow, wow! Das beste Bushcraft-Haus, das ich je gesehen habe! Ich liebe das Rundbogen-Design, die Schornstein-Heizung (genial) und den Kran! Ich habe noch nie ein Video mit einem Kran gesehen. Eine top Idee! Ich kann es kaum erwarten, das fertige Ergebnis zu sehen. Ich habe jede Minute des Videos genossen. Die Präzision und Logik mit der du baust und die Ruhe dabei. Und wie du alles findest - die perfekten Steine, den perfekten Baum für das Fenster und all die Dinge aus der Natur wie die Hagebutten. Ich bin sehr beeindruckt! Ich überlege schon lange, ob ich ein Haus aus Holz oder Stein bauen soll, aber ich denke, du bist mein Vorbild geworden. So ähnlich werde ich es auch machen, nur kleinere Steine, weil ich die Kraft nicht mehr habe. Danke für das tolle Video!

I like the way you moved those logs. Many years ago, my dad told me to cut the "rollers" a bit shorter and around 5 inches thick. It's way better and easier than dragging logs somewhere with a rope.

one of my favorite cabin in the woods builds on youtube. fantastic job so far cant wait to see the rest. i normally dont subscribe to these channels but you earned my sub. i look forward in seeing hopefully othert builds from you as well. that primitive way you moved the big rocks with a log and rope was awesome. craftsman ship outstanding , the cabin looks amazing so far, keep up the good work.

Being built into the hill... it will need a water diversion ditch uphill of the shelter in the shape of an arch so all that hard work doesn't get water damage.

I would appreciate feedback on this. I am surprised that all of the stones are really rectangular and flat sided. Where I live , not one stone looks like these, not in France, not in Africa, not in the States. So I’m puzzled. I liked the workmanship and the great ideas., like the pendulum to lift the heaviest stones. Why put the fireplace outside? I have many questions about this video.

Collecting the stones took a very long time; it was not easy to deal with them. It’s good that this type of stone can be processed with a wedge hammer. Here in Ukain you can find everything, and not just rectangular stones. If you have any other questions, I will be happy to answer them.
