You will! If I get enough of these Aramaic language videos up, you'll find your Ge'ez starts to transform into something understandable.

Merry Christmas 🎄 Just a question Professor. I speak Chaldean Syriac, was born in Iraq and have lived abroad now for the past 30 yrs. I want to learn how to write my language and be able to read! Do you recommend any book or website! I feel guilty about contributing to the extinction of this language!

It's tough to say. There are numerous books that folks in the Assyrian (Church of the East and Catholic) communities publish. There is a gentleman in Australia who helped put together an entire K-12 curriculum. I haven't gotten a hold of it myself, but it seems comprehensive enough. I have videos that may help fill in the blanks. If you're looking for something specific, let me know and I will see what I can do. By the way, it is never too late to learn. Don't let anyone from the community make you feel bad. Just be slow and intentional and the language will live through you.

Sometimes when you go to a syriac person it becomes biased, but hearing and learning from a different nationality works great 👍🏻
