One of the most alarming aspects of this is that the home was torn down. Why on earth would this be allowed to happen.? It was apparently suggested that the children requested this as the home held so much bad memories regarding the murders. This is very suspicious if you ask me. Very nice for u to have an explanation for the inexplicable but most people don’t think like u anymore. We tend to think the universe is very random and religion is simply a tool man made up to make the universe less scary and to give humanity, and more specifically the poor, hope. That hope allows the rich, who are almost all atheists, almost total control over the poor. That hope makes it less likely that the rich will end up on the wrong side of a guillotine again. That little bit of hope allows the poor to think they’re the morally superior ones, that they’ll get to go to heaven, not the rich and certainly not their flamboyantly fabulous friends. “Religion is the opiate of the masses” Karl Marx (who is probably still burning in hell as we speak. Sad!)
@neige4221
11 ай бұрын
@@kingdoc3262 It’s not Karma. It has more to do with money and what type of people are drawn to it, but most importantly what they are willing to do for it. Having said that, if Barry was a “bad” human being in general, he most likely spawned a child with the same genetics of being bad as well, which could be looked at as Karma if the child is behind the killings. Time will tell.

@@Jamietheroadrunnerand you better “hope” that verses such as: “Then Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire.” Revelation 20:14-15 & ““And they shall go forth and look Upon the corpses of the men Who have transgressed against Me. For their worm does not die, and their fire is not quenched. They shall be an abhorrence to all flesh.”” Isaiah 66:24 are an opiate for the masses as well 😉

I have questions. My question: When was the son's trip to Japan booked? It was so convenient he was out of town at the time of the murder.. My theory - it was Israeli forces at the behest of a someone very close to the Shermans involved in this hit they were watched targetted and executed. This was planned very well.
This double murder is the best crime that ever happened to help Kevin's career. He's shown himself to be dogged and relentless, and if this crime is solved, he will no doubt have been instrumental in that.
After watching one too many of these cases you see how often or always the perpetrator is someone very close to the victim.

The key to who, is solving why the bodies were displayed by the pool? Psychologically, I assume it has great significance to who did it or had it done. It takes strength & time to physically move bodies, so I assume 2 or more people were there and got in without having to break in. Was there a childhood trauma around water or that pool, a heated conversation or a perceived humiliation there, is it symbolic? This is where familial relationships could unravel this purposeful staging of their demise, which is another example of overkill, which is personal.

Jonathan ( the son ) is the one that unalived his parents . He is also the first one that eagerly put up the 10 million dollar reward .. Noone came forward now it sits at 35 million . Now I don't know about you but I'm from planet Earth ..and I would turn MYSELF in for that amount of money . This is not rocket science people . Jonathan took over his dad's company literally the next day and fired everybody .. which made no sense .. he's also currently in a heated war with his two sisters for control over the dad's empire . Noone broke in .. They didn't get robbed ... Nothing was broken or destroyed .. Cars .. Money .. Safe .. was in the correct place according to the sisters .. and that mystery posed position they were found in is not in the hitman handbook .. and identifies as a personal statement being made . They even tried to say Justin Trudeau had something to do with it since they were rumored to have made a large pledge for some event concerning him .. but backed out of it at the last minute after they were informed of some unsettling information about him ... to throw it off .. It was Jonathan .. he owed his dad money according to the companies accountant ( in the millions ) and collection day was two weeks before they were taken out . Bottom line is the reason Jonathan has offered such a hefty amount of money is because he KNOWS it WON'T be claimed . Fly High Barry ♥️ Honey 🕊 🕊 UPDATE .. that further cements Jonathan as the culprit . He got into a SEVERE brawl with his sisters because he went over their head and had Barry and Sherman's mansion ... yes the one with the indoor swimming pool Barry had built from ground up .... torn down and completely DEMOLISHED .. claiming bad memories ... and it ESCALATED when he kicked it up a notch over and SOLD Barry's company for BILLIONS without the sisters consent ... which the former colleagues said Barry would've been mortified by this !! ..That's right .. read it AGAIN 👈

It’s quite possible that they were not more passion/ anger towards Honey. It’s possible that he wasn’t talking when they were hurting him,so they turned to his wife . Attempting or maybe even successfully breaking him down by torturing his beloved wife. I hate to say this but his kids received a large amount of money & assets . Some one in the family did this. As soon as I heard these people were murdered, I said a family member did this, and it will never be solved unless the person tells some one, who reports it. We had a wealthy family who were brutally murdered a few years ago in a similar fashion. Some one bash in the father, then the son, the mother who was out, when she got home she was bash in, the daughter and her husband were not hurt. They lived on glencairn, so some one in the family did it. It has not been solved. If a business person were going to murder the man, they probably would not have killed honey. It's a family person

With the type of money the family has you can hire a hit-man to kill the hit-man to kill the hit-man so it would become untraceable. Crimes of the rich pale in comparison to the poor man’s abilities to get away with murder or any other crime. Even when you are found guilty you will not serve the same time or in the same facilities as the rich man; Muzzo who also comes from a billionaire’s fortune and who was responsible for 4 deaths for driving drunk only served 3 years or something ridiculous like that. Justice system is not so just after all.

@@chuckbeedle1983 With the amount of that "reward" ($35,000,000) which would have NO FEAR of having it paid out, it could definitely pay off law enforcement, judge's, lawyer's (etc) to "hide"/"destroy" evidence!!! To top it off, that's a "ridiculous" amount for a "Reward"!!! That raised my eyebrows when I heard that!!🤔

Agreed, but most likely the son or his boyfriend hired a local hitman who then hired an international hitman to commit this evil act. The inheritance to the son could only happen if both parents were deceased. This is why Honey was killed to.
Barry made so many enemies and wronged so many people, including his own cousins. This is a case of too many people wanted the victim dead and is impossible to find out who actually did it.

He actually tried to help his cousins with money and set up businesses. He bought the company fairly. The cousins have major issues.
Could the police be involved or just complacent? The son is definitely suspicious.
There was a camera across the street from the house. They only show once a guy parks and goes in the lane way. They say it was an undercover cop. They never seen anyone else from that lane way from that camera. Then they demolished the house and there was still things in the house and pictures on the wall. This is strange to me.
Excellent podcast!! I hope they find the person who did this, no one should get away with murder. Someone needs to look into the Canadian police as they consistently botch cases that many of us crime enthusiasts could quite possibly solve
Any updates on this case? This has to be solved!
Family take out families all the time over greed.
I suggest that the police are 100% convinced that son Johnathan murdered both of his parents for the money but they can't prove it. Sons murdering their wealthy parents for the inheritance has played out time and again. Jonathan had the motive and the means, and his behavior in the aftermath of the murders has been consistent with a culpable subject - several people in the immediate family have gone on record saying they think he 's " involved " in the murders.

TPS would have gotten away with this if the kids had no said, "Oh h=ll to the NO!!" Total incompetence, laziness, wanting to take the easy road. Imagine if it was just a regular working couple? Scary.
I certainly hope that detective was fired & his past cases reviewed. It looks like a TPD cover up. They've showed incompetence in a few cases & to come up with Mur/sui in this case is mindblowing.
Love you Ana... have a great weekend. xo :)
Jonathan Sherman adding $25 million when $10,000,000. Five years earlier didn’t generate any good leads is just grandstanding and if it generated lots of false leads it could be construed as suspicious
This is clearly not random and not an accident. How do you eventually find out who did this? Who benefits and who had the ability to pull it off.
Excellent 3rd eye. What other son uses the f... K word in first sentence at his parents funeral speech. I saw and heard it.!!!??
how does the lawyer not have the will and has not come forward? That's crazy
Jonathan had to disclose the loan to the journalist because his siblings and the police already knew about the loan and the emails in which Barry asked him to pay part of the loan back. Otherwise I doubt if he would offer this information at all to anyone, including his siblings and the police, nevermind the journalist.
She probably was hit because shè tried to defend herself. Being a "sharp tongue " she probably wouldnt go easy.

That’s not a murder suicide! Their son killed them
sometimes i wonder if this is incompetence or a cover up by the investigators?
I thought the police would have done a better job in resolving this case. This couple was well connected from the most expensive real-estate in Ontario

They need some experienced detectives bring in the FBI this case seems to really be lacking serious investigating unbelievable. It’s either someone within the family or someone in their business dealings had a grudge. Who was the last person to see them alive who had such easy access to their house must have been someone they knew. I watch so many true crime stories I could investigate this case better then what has been done so far
