Wild Fish Tanks what type of cichlid was in with the parrot fish at start of video please

I worked in 4 pet shops for 7 years and I really MISS it! Especially the fish. My job was to clean and decorate the tanks, keep them healthy, and feed them. I would take about an hour before closing just to feed them, spend time talking to them, and just connect with them. I always promised myself that I would one day have a fish room in my house. But sadly, I've never been able to afford more than renting an apartment. But that doesn't stop me from having a few tanks. One of these days, I will own my own pet shop!

This is my local store. Definitely one of the cleanest stores I've been to and the people are great. Anyone in the area should check them out!

Well said, Worth the 40 minute drive for me without a doubt

Love this place! It's nice to see a local shop in my KZread suggestions. They are very helpful here and they have such a great selection. I love how the people working there are enthusiastic about the hobby. The store itself is great to be in, it has a cool modern feel.

I personally live 15 min. From them and it is one the best fish store in Orlando area clean, experience, and friendly staff. I highly recommend anyone to go great experience you will not be disappointed.

That is a really awesome Fish Store, not because of how modern it looks and I like modern, yet by how clean the Holding Aquariums are and the way the acclimate the Fish much the same way as acclimating Saltwater which in my personal experience as a 31 year Fish keeping hobbyist that really is the best way to introduce fish to the Aquariums for an assured sense of having the Fish alive for a very very long time. Great video, thank you very much. Sorry I missed this One. Have a great week Sir.

10:48 What is that barb with black strips and fins, and red body? I have never seen it yet. They also have it 14:30. It looks a bit like Puntius nigrofasciatus.

just wish they had more predatory oddballs, most stores only carry silver arrowana, Bichir's, clown Knifes, redtail/tiger shovelnose, and maybe peacock bass. I would like to see more Indo tarpon, Bambusa, Odoe pike and various Payara species Armatus/Scombroides/tats rare predatory cats like piraiba, dorado, true tigrinis, slober, vultures. I live close enough to orlando to go here but to find rare stuff like this i gotta drive to south florida or through the internet which is only inconvenient because of the shipping expense on live fish.

We love to get oddballs in, we just don't get them that often because they rarely sell. If you're looking for a particular fish just give us a call and I'd be happy to order it 😁 I ordered a group of Pink Tail Chalcius for this Thursday.

What's the best place in N.W. Washington State to find a good selection of fresh water tropical fish?

Here’s a question for everyone semi familiar with Jack Dempseys. 1:35 they show “Electric blues.” In that tank they have the bright blue ones as well as lighter blue and white ones. Obviously they change color depending on mood just like their relatives, but would you consider them all electric blues, or would you say the light ones are powder blues? Looking online in markets as well as “about articles” will say both terms pretty interchangeable. At the same time the sellers who will differentiate will charge more for the powder blues. I have been breading a few lines from my original pair of regular jacks long enough to now have all three morphs. There is definitely a difference in genes between all three. I guess it dosnt really matter for the non aquarists, but for the Dempsey fans there seems to be a lot of miss knowledge out there(at least some knowledge that contradicts others. I am just curious as to what you all think/believe. Thanks in advance.

St. Louis needs a high quality fish store like this, We basically have nothing but the chains and a couple of LFS but their nothing to talk about and super overpriced.

Look up the Missouri Aquarium Society. Swaps, auctions, and you have to remember when you go to a specialty store your paying for specific options. The cost is more for a LFS vs a large pet store chain, and LFS will buy from local breeders which means the fish are likely to handle your parameters. Last thing Tropical world pets, and there is one more that is really good in st louis. I'll have to look up the name.

Does anyone know the size of those tanks?

I went there a couple weeks ago I bought two fish for 98 dollars and I find the same fish an other place for 25 dollars each.

3:26 is it not the only fresh water skat. we have them here down under. just not as good looking as that tiger.

There’s only ONE independent Owned Aquarium Shop in my city now. The 2 Big Pet Store Chains eventually put the rest out of business Very Sad.

so then what about the theory, that after a long tranport of fish in a closed bag, when you open it, pH raises due to CO2 release, and NH4 is transferred in more toxic NH3, and, as a conclusion, pop and drop is better then drip acclimatisation ???.

Pretty sure that little bulb thing he presses starts the siphon. There are some gravel vacuums that start similar and have a bulb to prime it

In philippines price can go for 20-40$ for a trio of guppy those are S-class showtype while 20$ below for house pet class for trio this is still cheap
