Why prophet Muhammad had 12 wives? Very simple answer. He followed old laws of Torah where didn't give any restriction on getting married. Check history of surah Nissa regarding fourth marriage was revealed on 4th hijri. Prophet married his last wife on 3rd hijri.

Other Messengers of Allah were sent for specific people. Without the last and final Messenger of Allah, Sayyiduna Muhammad (ﷺ) we would not have been guided. We Muslims are honored to be from the Ummah of Sayyiduna Muhammad (ﷺ). Without Sayyiduna Muhammad (ﷺ), we are worthless and useless. Therefore it is incumbent on all Muslims to recognize this great honor and cherish it, as it is what is most valuable in this life and the next. Sayyiduna Muhammad (ﷺ) will intercede for his Ummah on Youm Ul Qiyamah, no other Messenger of Allah will be able to do this. So while we do not rank, we recognize the great blessing of Allah (Subhanahu wa ta'ala) on us as Muslims from this blessed Ummah.

The authority on who goes to heaven or hell belongs to Allah (swt) only. 2. The Quran does state that those who do well in this life will be placed with those who Allah blessed from prophets, martyrs and the honest ones in the hereafter. 3. Sometimes when i doubt something, sometime about my wudu' ,salah or even when i'm reading quran. Doubt like am i doing it right, read it right etc...Allah will guide me to find a good video, in instagram in utube. And then i will talk to myself, wah!! This is what i question yesterday. I believe Allah show us this video to clarify our question eventho we never spoke to anyone about it.

I think one of the questions I hate when people ask about this religion is why the Prophet (SAW) married Aisha (RA). They use her age as leverage to make a prophet become into a pedophile, when the Prophet (SAW) himself had no desire to treat her as an object of desire. She was a perfect example when the Prophet was in his golden years, so he could teach her about his religion as young people and able to absorb knowledge easily.

It was not acceptable, it was just that her parents were cretins enough to sell their 6 year old daughter to a very very incredibly old man. Kids at that age don't have discernment and the power to make their own choices. It was wrong back then too and this is super fishy and suspish. I don't understand if he was such a man of God, his personal messenger, why did he did things with a freaking pre teen? Is just not okay. I don't think anyone can justify dis thing.

@@stancuionela3671 there is a difference between selling one's child away and making a death wish or promise that their child will marry someone. Aisha (RA)'s father did not sell her away like the many parents of this era, where mortals would sell their children for the sake of money. Her father was the Companion to the Prophet Muhammad (SAW), and it was with his dying wish that he wanted his daughter to marry his daughter. No one would know the intentions of Abu Bakr other than the Almighty Allah (SAW), for He is the All-Knowing. Perhaps he thought he would live longer to see his daughter grow into a woman to marry a wise man, which could be the only reason why he made such a wish was fulfilled. However, I am merely beyond the angels and God Himself, for I am the woman who rebelled against God for not obeying Adam.

Masha Allah, it's amazing to see how i put my argument the same way this brother did and my argument also was if at all prophet pbuh was looking for materialistic pleasures than in the initial phrase of prophet pbuh preaching itself his enemies offered him gold, camels and women of his choice for stopping his preachings but he rejected shows he wasn't a materliastic person and i successfully debunked the islamophob argument ❤

After reading life of Prophet Muhammad ( pbuh) I reverted

Such content makes me love Islam even more. 😊 I'm a revert and from an online Islamic course I learnt that the prophet ﷺ had many wives at once because the verse limiting the number to 4 hadn't been revealed to him yet... And that after it was revealed he didn't marry any more. Is there any truth to this?

As of idolizing him is forbidden, give me a proof from islamic scriptures and i will 100% believe that statement. THANK YOU

Venogopala most of sayings ( Hadiths) of Prophet are narrated by Our Mother Aisha..That is the biggest source about the private life of Prophet Muhammad and guidelines provided by him in day to day life. Had her marriage not been executed with Prophet peace be upon him at that young age, the islamic world would have been deprived of the delicate domestic and marital issues confronted by them in their day to day lives. Because it is Aisha who lived for a longer time after the demise of Prophet peace be upon him and the later Muslims learned and took sayings(hadiths) of prophet from her....

The thing is back then, women were considered sold items. They were not valued and treated equally like nowadays. Imagine yourself as a woman without any husband. How can you get your food and income while people take advantage of you? The proof is that Jahiliah once killed their daughter to make sure she will not receive the bad treatment from the society. To overcome this issue, the Prophet encourages us to get married. The men shall protect the women. That is the ultimate goal. He saved his wives and took care of them fairly.
