District Six probably he wasn’t drunk this time as he did better than other times or at least he tried. It’s just his accent that most of us find it annoying, like listening to a drunk guy.

I'm a hungarian from scotland , not an issue to understand him.

Funny thing is the suzuki is arguably the best bike in the show... The motor and transmission on that bike is Awsome ....rework the front fork to your liking change the seat to your taste .ADD steel break lines ...put top notch tires on it. Full exhaust and computer tune and you got a bike that will outperform the others EASILY. You just don't get to say its a KTM or TRIUMPH.

It's great to have a genuine guy being himself instead of the usual glib manufactured pub chain presenters keep it up you mad jock from a sassenach fan 💪💪

These 790 are awesome ,I test rode one in lakes & was converted in less than 30mins. Fantastic fun.

The GSX-S750 is great for the price. Could be just a bit lighter but throw in a slip-on and a lithium battery and you'll lose some weight on the bike.

I was already having fun listening to the accent but then I turned on the captions and it made it even better.

I have given a thumbs up to a lot of the comments regarding your accent... fact is most are funny, and another fact, I enjoyed your facts and commentary - subbed!!

Wish you would have tried the 765 S Triumph.

Totally appreciate you can only test what you’re given but I agree with another reply in that a comparison against a Street Triple S would be really useful. And if you can’t get an S then perhaps reference that and suggest how an S version (at £2k less) might be interesting.....and keep us hanging for a repeat test with that bike? Like the format and style though, and also love the accent.

Good review bro, I can understand what you say I think others need to get their ears tested.

Triple R is the best in the class. It keeps winning all the middleweight shootouts. The Z900 [although not really a middleweight] is also in this class on price alone. It's a great bike with more power than the others [except the Triple RS at the top of the rev range].

I'd be curious as to how they would compare if the KTM was fitted with one of the PowerParts windscreens like the triumph has - given one of the supposed negatives of the KTM was wind blast on faster roads - although this could well be rider height related as other reviewers have said they were surprised at how well the headlight deflects the wind.

You'd have to lean forward an awful lot to gain any advantage from a headlight deflecting the windblast. The Triumph in this video is stock, except for the Arrows exhaust of course. (I never really noticed any difference in windblast on any of the naked bikes I've owned btw MT-03, Hornet, 765RS. Just lay down flat and grab the front fork if you're on the Autobahn :D).

Psycho Paul 765 is your safe bet mate. Loved by everyone, no downsides to it, no compromises like with the others. You just have to pick your spec between the 3 Triumph offers, depending how much you likely to spend.

A lot of people love the European and Italian bikes but Japanese are amazing in both quality and design. I may be biased though cuz my old R1 has nearly 30k miles on her now.

Baldock, Royston and the pub in Ashwell. Great part of the UK.

I was lucky enough to test the Duke and the Suzuki, along with the Z900 and MT-09. The Suzuki does not have the initial wow factor of the other three, but I found the other three flawed. The KTM was tiny, seat was not comfortable and the engine had a very small power band. The MT-09 was quite choppy and a little unsettled to ride and the engine was not as smooth. The Kawasaki ergos just did not fit me as well (dealer acknowledged this by saying they have a taller seat), and I did not find it turned in as nicely as the Suzuki. My view is the the Kawasaki, Yamaha or KTM will win you over on a 20 minute test ride, but the Suzuki is the better bike longer term where the quality of the ride and ergos will come to surface. If you want a bike to wheelie get the KTM, if you want to use it on a daily basis get the Suzuki.

That's awesome to here. Im %90 certain on the suzuki but the devil on my shoulder says that mt 09 engine would be fun! I'll get the suzuki and im sure I'll be happy.

Boom. Accurate, detailed, and sharing what people actually want to hear. And I know you're not lying because I've been on most of them. Suzuki's just WORK. Everything JUST WORKS. Nothing half-baked about the bikes Suzuki puts together. And they are reliable as a stone axe.

The problem for me is the concept version of the duke just looked so amazingly awesome. I'm left wondering why they didn't at least style it like it's big brother? The looks of the 790 do not measure up to the incredible engine that powers it.

For the first 30 seconds i thought he was speaking another language... after playing with the captions, i realized xD

I had no problem understanding him.

From where i live, the 790 is almost the same price as 765 RS (RM65800 vs RM66900)

Great video, the triumph is a great bike bus expensive, the ktm looked great in the concepts but what happened? The gsx-s 750 looks a great bike for the price, howling 4 cylinder and you can mod it till your blue in the face

IMO the KTM looks massively better in the black version.

İ am a rider trying to decide buying street triple or 790 duke. Really waiting for a test like that. But i couldnt understand what the guy is saying literally. Can you please add subtitles ?? İ test ride both of them but opinion of more skilled riders can make difference for me :)

I wanted that 790 so bad when I saw the concept... Now, I really want to like it but I just get over the looks.... I know it's built to budget and you get an awful lot for your money, but if they'd of made it look a bit more like the 1290 or even the 390 I would of snapped it up in a heart beat!! They are both far more attractive bikes, why did the 790 turn out to be the ugly sister?? 😒

You forgot about MT09 and Kawasaki Z900 in this. Kawa for the price is probably the best. MT09 better packaged for the price if you like to pay more for fuel and enjoy supermoto ergonomics.

Aug Ustinus well not true supermoto but it does make you feel you're on top of the bike and not in it. Have you ridden MT09? It's almost same as KTM Duke 390/790

Mitchell Griffith you're right. I rode the MT09SP for 100 KMs and at the end of it, I wouldn't ride it even if you had paid me. The seat was too hard out of the box and throttle required a lot of input. Yes it was fun but it didn't last long.

why everybody test Triumph in RS spec? wouldn’t it be more fair to test duke against S or R version. RS it’s about £2k more expensive
