The Who is another of the big big British rock bands of the 60s and 70s. One of their albums, Quadrophenia, is the inspiration and loose source for the film Quadrophenia that BP watched recently, I believe?

Yeah, that's one of the things i love about The Big Push, as well. There's no ego, everyone gets to shine and their love for music and entertainment really shows. Their chemistry is second to none.

Ren's versatility is amazing. He plays the bass like a bloody lead guitar !

"Probably drums too" - throwaway comment but yes Ren plays drums too lol. Gorran was on the bass in the I Shot the Sheriff video. They just swap around as they see fit it seems. You both really ought to check out some of Romain's solo work - it's fantastic.

The Big Push reminded me so much of the Beatles in so many ways

My Generation is The Who, fronted by Roger Daltrey and Pete Townshend - it's a rock classic. As Mr Pegasus (sir) pointed out Ren is often on electric 6 string Telecaster, but plays acoustic, bass, piano (did I read somewhere a bit of cello, too?)

This is the who, one of the most amazing bands of all time, Roger, Daltrey, lead singer, Pete Townsend, lead guitar, John Entwistle, on base and Keith Moon on drums, they were responsible for Led Zeppelin getting their name

The Who were inspired by the Beatles and the Rolling Stones, amongst other. But they were more Ska and Punk.

In The Big Push, Goran is usually bass and Ren and Romain are both on electric guitar but they all switch off now and then

They were all buskers before making the band and everyone had their own repertoire of songs, that's why they are changing lead.

My Generation by the Who" released in 1966. It was there smashing up their equipment at the and of a gig. All started by their loony drummer Keith Moon, who sadly died in 1978, drug overdose.
