If you want to see his chops on guitar you should watch The Big Push I Shot the Sheriff/ Road to Zion/ Hip Hop, War Pigs (black sabbath cover) and esp. Paint it Black.. all 3 videos are well worth checking out.. to see how well they gel, how well they cover genres and it is just plain fun!!! Just do it 😁 (in all 3 of these videos Ren has red suspenders on.. to make it easier to pick the right videos)

Good suggestions! I would add Wade in the Water/Nina Simone/Trouble so Hard as it has Ren solo on the bass a bit more, Crutch, for many reason not least his haunting piano skills and Swan Song because he plays a Melodica of all things! 🙂

Sting wrote this song about an English author called Quentin Crisp, who he met in New York in the 1980's. It concerns Crisp's experiences and challenges as an openly gay man.

Bittersweet Symphony and Power are a Must!!!

Ren didn't write this, Sting did. This was a cover. A GREAT cover, though.

I recently heard he plays the piano as well 🤯 They do a cover of Bongo Bong by Manu Chau in a similar performance style that I love. English man in New York is a Sting song but I prefer their version. If you do I Shot the Sheriff make sure to do the one that Says I shot the Sheriff, Road to Zion and Hip Hop please. It’s the best one 😊

Ren's got mad talent. He started off creating beats and selling them. He taught himself guitar by watching videos and slowing them down. He also plays bass, drums and piano. He once said one good thing about not being classically trained is that it's easy to break the rules if you never knew them.

I'm not certain if that's the one... but the Bassist from the Verve, Si I think is his name! Saw his cover of Bittersweet Symphony... and they liked it Sooo much they sent him a guitar! He has a video of him unboxing it! From. What others have said... it's Rare and a nice guitar! Actually... I don't think that's the one!? Could be!? Bongo Bong from them is worth checking out too!

The Big Push has a number of really good originals. They are way more than a cover band. Check out: Precious, Watch Out, Why Woman, What Kind of Woman, Dignity, X-box Marijuana, Why My Woman, All My Heroes….Have fun. Another fun thing is a quarantine Big Push video where they had fans send in video clips of their activities in quarantine. It was all spliced together with some videos of the band members screwing around and doing a great cover of Heroes (David Bowie).
