Thank you for that happy response! Hooray for this style of performance by The Big Push. All three fellows -- Ren, Gorran, and Romain-- are Beyond Excellent vocalists and musicians and are great friends who have played together for several years. You can really hear their harmonious blending in songs like this one, English Man in New York. I loved seeing your reaction! Please check out The Big Push - Bongo Bong to see their very cool rendition of Manu Chao's famous song as well as Fatboy Slim's song Praise You that's also done in their indomitable ' Big Push style'. I came to this backward, starting with the Big Push version. Just now checked out the original by Sting (music video). Preferred Big Push but really liked Sting version too. I wonder if we don’t imprint to a degree on the first version we absorb and rarely does a cover beat the original. Can’t remember if you tried any Big Push originals. All my Heroes got stuck in my head.

Jamel, you spoke about The Big Push making their cover their own. IMO Ren & The Big Push are "inhabiting" the song, familiar and comfortable, making tea and toast, not just observing it. He arranged, orchestrated, recorded, mixed, and produced it and edited the video. Quincy Jones is his mentor and manager. It's about 5 minutes then long credits. Dirty Loops are the trio on the right. Corey Wong is the 'lead rhythm" guitarist. The horn section include three of the original "Hornheads", Prince's studio and touring horns. Dirty Loops are managed by Quincy Jones who produced the album "Thriller" and commissioned Temperton to write Thriller the song. I've never seen them block, so you might even try their video quite big.

I love your Sowell videos! It's great that you're waking up to one of my generation's greatest men, but that you don't hear about because of media gaslighting the country. You recently said that you are considering reading one of his books. My suggestion - Conflict of Visions. (if you get Audible, it's a free book) 35 years old book, discussing changes that began in the mid 18th century, but that is the best book to explain the difference between the two political sides fighting in the Western world today. Short synopsis - boils down to different assumptions made at the beginning. i.e. one side believes in a God and the other side believes in the perfectibility of man, and thus that there is no God. Also strongly suggest watching the two Uncle Tom movies (1&2). They talk about Sowell but also show how the media especially likes to gaslight the black community.
