Love the commentary and the set was really good too

dude this set rules. hbox actually kicks ass when he's like this. ppmd really does bring out the greatest of everyone.

Also Scar's commentary combination of hilarity, knowledge and hype with Toph is amazing.

Everything about this match is terrific. May be my favorite match.

I feel like although PPMD is one of the gods I think he's the least praised of all of them. But his play style is awesome to me because he always takes the best option with the lowest risk. And that's an extremely effective play style once he gets a lead bc he rarely gives up opportunities for the opponent to come back. Just a great player

Scar never let Toph talk. Didn't really respect that.

this is great for the community. I've missed the days when tournaments were mixed in with some sense of ambiguity(any of the top players could win at any given moment). Congrats to Hbox and good shit PP.

This is the first tournament I've seen them commentate together where I thoroughly enjoyed the commentary, I wonder if it's just my tastes having changed, I'm going to go back to some old stuff and check it out.

When this was new, game 2 is the reason why I got into smash.

You know Scar is the commentator when you have to reduce your headphone volume to 50% at the start of the video. I really like his commentating though.

Who fuckin cares about a crowd not liking you when you can have as much fun as Hbox seems to be having all by yourself. Stay sleepy :D

Yep it was. The organization was also superb and there was lots of friendlies and tv's. After EVO it's the best tournament of the year so far.

INTENSE games. So fun to watch, the relief on Hbox is great as well as the disappointment by PP.

k so i slowed the vid down at the 8:00 mark to half and scar sounds like he got high and that is really weird how he talks bout yoshi's story and the body count on it

So many great rest combos.

It was great, too bad a bunch of people left before winner's finals. We had a 5+ hour drive home but at least we waited to see if m2k was able to do anything against hbox, that was awesome.

This is probably the funniest SSBM set ever.

Same reason the hate(d) Sheik, because at a certain lower level of play it becomes fairly OP much like wobbling at a low enough level too. That aside, his Puff is amazing and I love it.

its funny u say that because this is PP's favorite MU and he's studied it (besides marth) to a science. He's gotten beaten the last 3x though, but before zenith 2013 he had the advantage over hbox; winning the head to head for like the last 3 years. PP's even beaten MaNg0's puff at Genesis 2 in a MM/seriouslies (though mango's puff may have been outta shape) Point is PP's falco can beat any puff, its just that like m2k, hbox decided he's no one's bitch and decided to improve his approach on pp.
