It was also easier for me because the bedrock had been cleaned up sniping but yes it was certainly a lot easier for me than usual

Happens to me all the time too; you find some great gold at the end of the day, next day get all geared up to really smash it, and.... it peters out! Glad you had so much success on this detecting trip, must've been hard to not get in the water with your mates lol. Thanks for the videos Levi

Yeah has happened to me more than once mate and yes I was pretty keen to get into the water as always, they still outdone me but I did have Ron sweating that I’d get more 😁

You should definitely get a pinpointer, it would make it easier to locate the nuggets more precisely when you get a signal.

Great video Levi!! You are not the only one getting up at crazy times to go prospecting.. about 2 weeks ago, I got up at 4 AM drove 4 hours to prospect in northern Italy. 2 days. 0.8gramms of flourgold (Vogus style) But hey! didn't go home empty handed!!! Be healthy & safe!!!!

Massive effort mate 👌 I have found that good rock bars that hold nuggets in creeks normally extend in under the banks and hold the same if not better gold nuggets.

It’s true mate not always the case but for me some of my biggest have been either in the shallows or on the banks 👍🏼

Amazing the amount of gold you find there and some nice pieces. I live in the Gold Country of N California and my river doesn’t have close to the amount you find there. Some guys here like “ Two Toes “ do really well detecting and sniping but on a different river and much higher elevation. Thanks for your videos, they are Great👍

Yeah it’s been pretty tuff little thing it’s the third time I’ve drowned it but the first time was nearly two yrs ago so it seems to be ok for now 😳

Amazing as always! I must tell you that I've heard from old timers that you will more than likely find gold where the worms are. Many will laugh this off as coincidence but I've found my best gold near worms!!! As you can see in this video at 10:00 mark this rings true again and again!

Pro tip..... Never walk with a detector switched off... always scan the ground, you can walk over a nugget patch and will never know it!

It’s true mate I usually do swing on my way in and leaving I’ve actually found two small patches of gold just walking a straight line back to the car one was in the outback and the other here in Tassie

Yeah it’s amazing where it hides hey that .5 fist looking piece was in a tiny round little pocket of bedrock not much larger than the nugget itself just a small amount of sediment hiding it

Gold monster 1000 aren’t to expensive it would be a great start

Hey Levi, you need to remind us to click the like button a bit earlier so we have time to do it before the video ends. I watch all your vids and when it gets to the end you say click the like button and it is already playing another video before I can get to that damned like button. I enjoy every one of your adventures. I wish I had the money to buy a gold detector and go for a trip up here, (Far North Queensland), but body corp fees, rates, and mortgage repayments have me living from week to week so I just keep on dreaming. I really hope you stumble upon a monster nugget soon and film the discovery for us to enjoy with you. Keep the great content coming mate.

Thanks Levi for all the incredible videos I find 99% of my gold with a minelab metal detector I'm still using the first pulse induction ever made the 2100 you can get rid of those hot rocks by using a double d coil I use a little Joey for highly mineralized areas I live in California we are still finding gold here LOL

The 4500 has become a very underrated detector but in my opinion it's still the best around detector if u know how to use it. Merry Christmas to you and your family and hope you find plenty of nuggets in the new year 👍

Yes a few have mentioned this usually I get right down to the bottom of any decent crevice all the material removed I don’t see how they could penetrate through the deep gravel but in saying that it would be interesting to see if anything is still stuck on the clay beneath some crevices have very soft clay at the base so it would be easy for the gold to get stuck in under
