Just watch more QI lad. She's a delight there too. Joe can't be there all the time sadly, but if Alan Davies leaves the show like Stephen did, I'd vote for Joe Lycett to take over the role of resident problem child.

Katherine's fine as hell. Total knockout imo.

Sandi and Joe had great chemistry. I think Big Narsti was supposed to be the wild card, but was checked out. I usually enjoy the humor of Katherine Ryan and Frank Skinner, but neither was very "on." I liked the couple a lot.

Short dark hair is really working for her, and the martini glass really adds that touch of....poise I guess? Class? Idk. She's like an assassin in a film noir or something. Loving it.

Sandi and Joe were really good in this episode but Jimmy didn't really play off of them like he would with other people who goof off on the show

I like David and Frank individually and together, and, if limited to the 6 here, it would be torture for either of them to be matched with Big Narstie. He's an unimaginative, unfunny, unintelligent person, and he revels in, has made a living off, those miserable failures. Ugh!

I'll tell you this much . The children of Mitchell Brook put on better plays then half the plays that come out of the professional playhouse in my area . I don't know who their drama teachers are but well done .... *Also ; I love that Stacy Solomon . As a depressed and generally angry person her attitude just cheers me up against my will and I love it .

Why do people always have to whine about Richard or Noel... just enjoy the damn show. Both of them were literally on big fat quiz of the year for 2019. Why would Richard be on both big fat quizzes?... so fuckin annoying seeing comments of nothing but "waaaahh... no Richard ayoade... this sucks.." on anything British without him.

I don’t think anyone expects a guy calling himself “Big Narstie” to be particularly bright, and this episode justified that lack of expectation.

I laughed way too loud at “What a fucking idiot.”

It seems like he was more open about his struggles there, whereas on his usual bios it all seems pretty “I just don’t drink because I don’t like it” casual.

Took me a while, but then I realized that Baddiel & Skinner had briefly "reformed", twenty years later! :)

Is it just me, or does it feel like they cut something around 1:16:54 Obviously they edit the taping, otherwise it would be so much longer, but it feels particularly noticeable around there.

I didn’t realize that there were so many people who disliked Katherine Ryan. I think she’s brilliant. While this episode isn’t the funniest one ever, it still has genuine moments that are gems. Also, was Jimmy kind of hostile to Big Narstie?

Agreed 100%, Katherine Ryan is one of my favorites of all time. Have you seen the Taskmaster season she was on? She was a legend. She also had a hilarious moment on Big Narstie's show. And I get what you mean about Jimmy, I think since they play such opposite personas, they're good foils for each other, so some arguing is great comedy, it was hilarious in the Big Fat Quiz of 2017. But it did come off more hostile in this episode. That said, I can't imagine trying to manage the line between funny hostility and uncomfortable hostility as a comedian, particularly when you don't control the final edit.

Yikes 😮! I’m sure I wouldn’t call that a “fun” fact. I hate to hear stories of wild animals’ lives ending badly due to humans’ intervention in the animals’ normal wild lives. (Then again, Peter could’ve been hunted by an Orca if he had remained in the ocean. But he just as easily could’ve mated with a female dolphin, had dolphin babies with her and lived a long life of swimming joy 🤨).

I dunno. I’ve never been to the UK, but Middlesbrough seems nice as it gave us Bob Mortimer

As a bartender of 14 years, when I saw how the tender made his whiskey sour, I cringed so hard; He totally "bruised the spirits." You need to dry shake the ingredients first to form the froth, then add ice and do either a quick shake to chill or stir. He also "dirty dumped" the contents into the glass... STRAIN that ish over fresh ice in the glass. Pfft... bring me on the program.

It’s probably worse to have a father who is a murderer - of your *mother* - than simply having the murderer be your godfather. Kim’s parents (probably her father) had bad judgement about people, it seems.
