    I’m a dummer - there are nine strikes of an (electronic) drum for the Eastenders things. Nine doofs - or four and a half doof-doofs.

    Generational differences are the funniest ever. It's like telling my parents there are people who watch others wrap presents online. That's ridiculous!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

    Very funny to watch a young guy try and explain visual ASMR to a room of people older than him

  • @acdocx86

    @acdocx86

    "Room full of older people" wasn't the problem I feel.... It was simply the WORST description of ASMR possible !! No One on earth would've understood a thing - young or old... He didn't even mention "ASMR" which I don't think would've been a giveaway or anything.... His story was deliberately cooked to create confusion & misdirection and unfortunately making something very soothing - into something very creepy! 🤷‍♂️

    @@valerielevasseur8674 - No...I reckon it has been felt in some way or the other by people across the world and down through the ages....probably much more so consciously and clearly in comparatively more recent times.... I don't mean each & every person that has ever existed, has felt it - it is universal but it is also not THAT universal! My problem has always been - whenever I've watched this clip - how ASMR as a concept is being explained here...without even the term being mentioned, at all!

  • @valerielevasseur8674

    @@acdocx86 Right. I was more replying to OP. If it's a physiological response, it shouldn't be brand new - maybe not universal, but not distributed as though the names we just recently started to give generations meant something biological. So the explanation is more likely at fault.
