I think it helps that their comedians tend to all know each other. I'm sure that can feel frustrating and cliquish if you're a young comedian trying to break into the business, but it means they tend to have a certain comfort and flow with each other.

I wish he knew more about economics and politics and didn't just parrot the fashionable opinion on them. Like on his KZread channel David Mitchell's soapbox he tried voicing his opinion on subjects and half the comment section ripped him to pieces (eg he said if we stopped using chipboard there would be less waste, not thinking that chipboard was reusing waste, brings prices down, etc). I reckon everyone ripping him to pieces is why he stopped his channel.

maybe that's because back home everyone in the street can take him on, but in the states people are not as quick witted and so they think he is the master of comedy..

Hilarious, and fantastic that this id going on for so many years. Being from the Netherlands doesn't stop me in finding this one of the highlights of the tv year. We also have funny comedians but not enough to switch them up each year. Brilliant series.

These shows are the only television programs that make me literally LOL when I’m all by myself. I can’t believe I only learned about how great British TV is like 2 years ago when I first found Time Team, then around a year ago I found out about Task Master and now within the last week I found this show. Noel Fielding is one of the funniest people I’ve ever seen and Richard Ayoade is a World Treasure.
