Thank you, I needed this Word This Morning, but your commit was an added Blessing from above! Headed to 24yrs of marriage and I was starting to point a finger. Grace be to God,it points at me. The word unconstitutional brought me back to point of it all, Ephesians 5:25-28. Thank you for speaking your heart, it was a seasoned Word after a Dynamic Message.

Unconditional love is tough when you are a slave, have tontake the blame even if you are in right standing, always have to appease, bear her cross while bearing the entire family's as well. Have to be perfect when everyone else can screw up yet when you point it out, you are judging. Marriage for men is a no win situation only to make everyone around you, including GOD happy. The question lies: what about you? Me? We don't matter, just a vessel for GOD'S glory.

Thank you for defining what a husband should be as I have never known that. He doesn't believe in God and criticizes me for loving God and reading Bible and going to church. He had absolutely no regard for my feelings or sensitivity as a result I couldn't open upto him. He criticized everything about me. He dint pray or anything. He dint think it was cool enough for him. And felt he wss justified in watching porn and expecting me to be like that. Basically when a man does not know God, he will just find ways to crush a woman's spirit so she can't do well in her marriage at all. Now by God's grace I have found a God fearing man. He has shown me what it is to feel safe and loved, and accepted as I am. I pray your situation changes .

A few month ago she repented and became a Christian, now we both follow Jesus. If you are going through tough time in your marriage, just try to apply what the Bible says and pray for your spouse and put it in the hands of God ❤

A wife also needs respect. When a husband's is betraying the wife behind her back and then playing innocent to her is the most predictable thing. Loving another women with his words, but not his wife. True story. "Good teaching." The wife tuition always ends up the truth. The wife is hurting left unloved because the husband's attention is towards other women. However, he doesn't want to sign divorce papers. Thank God! FOR Tony Evans.

Although I’ve heard this message, probably a few times now, THIS TIME FEELS LIKE I WAS ACTUALLY ON TRIAL!! The LORD just finally revealed to me who my wife truly is, and just how amazing of a woman she is. I had given up on her, I’d come to be convinced that she was the most selfish, ungrateful, and at some point, the most evil person in my life. But God has actually awoken my soul to be obedient to my spirit now. I finally see things in light of the Gospel’s truth. I had to screen record it when he said “it took you FIVE YEARS to make this mess!” 😂😂 that’s how long I’ve not been her husband! Not an agape husband, at least. We’re fairly young, but we’ve been together almost 11 years. Married for 5, going on 6 in July.

So I "just happened" to watch this last night. I wanted to cry at the end because I have been the woman with the "serpent's tongue" and I believe I pushed away the man that God put in my life due to the "lack of respect" or honoring my "lord". Now that I know better, I can/will do better for the next one and be an example for my son as to what a "godly" woman is and how he's to be treated, and for my daughter to NOT follow my footsteps but to also know how a "godly" man is to treat her and she treat him in return. I pray that God would bless all those have the blessing to be married and for those with a desire to be married. Thank you Pastor Evans, I always enjoy your teaching and I pray for your life, family, and ministry.

My wife left me December 20th. Said shes been feeling worthless and sad and cant do this anymore. I now realise how I've been controlling and kept her small. My love was conditional, based on if she loved me. I'm trying my best to give her space as she doesnt want to speak with me She moved and took the kids to her moms. But I also know I need to show that I care and love her no matter what. She had a job interview today and i texted her good luck but no response. I wish i saw this a year ago but then again, it wouldnt have hit home and i most likely wouldnt have changed i thank God for giving me the eyes to see my wrong doings and i pray that she heals and can forgive me. I know she may never fomr back but I just pray that shell come back.

I been doing this to my wife for 37 years.. This is how long we been married. She stopped having sex with me 35 years ago when we found out I'm sterile and couldn't give her any natural children. We both got married as virgins. I couldn't wait to get married. I do everything for my wife. I have three retirements. I pay for everything. I do what brother Evans is teaching. I'm starving for her love, intimacy and sex. She's not interested in any of them. Please pray I'll will continue to endure. Thank you
