Same, grew up with an institutionalized, abusive to my mother absent father, so I'm not abusive but remind my mom of him so I get called my father's name when she wants to attack my heart so BECAUSE OF MY FATHER, MY MOM WAS DESTROYED..... I appreciate Daniel so much, I'm 36 I've struggled with drugs, still am bit found God a little less than a year ago and was baptized Dec. 31st and have worked so hard and am loving and learning about God sooooo much.

My husband is lost and needs prayer. Five years ago he walked away from God and our family. 🙏 He is lost in this world and needs God.

My father was never present in my life even when he was still married to my mom. He made it very clear that he did not want to be a father. He was more concerned about being a professional alcoholic and succeeded in that and was until the day he died. I am 52 now and I can say I did not turn out like him. I never did have any children and I thought that was a lost cause. But God has brought me a wonderful woman and I am excited to be not only a great husband to her but also a great dad to our children. God is so good it cannot be described.

My youngest son got married just over a year ago to a woman who came to visit him from Scotland. She became pregnant and had to return to Scotland. They planned to get the paperwork to bring her and their child back to Canada. Now, she is refusing to come back here, my son is beside himself. Might I ask people pray for him and his wife.

Father's not having rights to their children after mothers choose to leave the relationship is a huge problem being overlooked. Many fathers want to take responsibility for their children but are denied the right to by the mother due to the government giving complete control to mothers. Not all fathers can afford to hire a attorney and fight in court for thier rights to see the kids. This needs to be a discussion because it's a huge problem being overlooked and very relevant.

That very same thing is practice here in Norway, too. Give women rights and they start killing your emotions. Never heard any preacher go near this injustice. I think it is evil and egoistic to the core. The fact that even God does not put this issue on any pastors, is beyond me. Not even DLM dares to touch the subject. And that truly is a shame. 😢

I sincerely wish there were more preachers out there who would speak about the "taboo" topics in such a mature manner like Daniel has in this video. Most avoid speaking about them at all or when they do speak, they preach accusatory hellfire and brimstone without actually being helpful in showcasing how to handle when you're falling away from your spouse into temptation and how to reinforce your beliefs and marriage. Humans need help from other humans at times to keep them on the narrow path against the hordes of those traveling the wide path. It's part of being a Christian even if the person you're trying to help isn't a Christian. The Bible has sound, solid "advice".

Please keep me in prayer, that the Lord would bring me my wife. Im a 32 year old man, have been praying and desiring a wife for a long time. I am currently pursuing a a woman, but she is not romantically minded. Pray for me for clarification and a sound mind on the issue. 2 years ago when i first saw her, i felt the Holy Spirit reveal to me who she was in her faith. The holy spirit actually witnessed to me about her walk with God. I knew who she was in Him instantly. Upon pursuing her i have found that she wants to mever take a husband as she wants to dedicate her life to God. So she has said she just isnt ready yet, but that she feels honored that I have that interest towards her. So please, pray for wisdom and clarity. Because I know that God pointed her out to me, but for some reason she hasnt confirmed me or rejected me. As i am a naturally deeply passionate and romantic man, its all hard to take. So please pray for me for clarification and that God would reveal to me what to do next. Weither i need to let it all go, or if i need to correct something in order for her to finally accept me. Please pray for me.

A little more information, she is 31. I have written her a letter and in that letter towards the end I specifically told her that if she rejects me, I will immediately stop pursuing her. Yet she has not done so. I feel so confused over it all. She isn't clear about anything. All she has been clear about is that she isn't ready. So I suppose what I'm in need of most is prayer for patience, prayer for God's will to be revealed and so on.

Im 17 and i desire to get married in the future is not easy since i keep idolizing woman and lusting after them. It makes it hard to think I will get married, so hope that you can pray for me too and share me some wisdom as your are certainly older than me. Honestly speaking if she has no answer your chance is just an option for her if ever she doesn't find her ideal type of a man then you should stop pursuing her. You should know what it feels like to be an option. Don't compromise for something you will lose. Why would you like to have a consolation prize rather than a 1st prize. It should be a calculated risk. Marriage is like a gamble right sometimes you lose and sometimes you win. You should ask for a godly woman who isn't materialistic and has contentment in a relationship, a woman will embrace both your weakness and your strength. The one who will honor her man no matter what comes into the relationship, the one who will accept you for who you are. Don't just look for a physical appearance although it is also important what I am trying to say is, that look will fade but a beautiful soul will last a lifetime. A woman who will be a good mother to her future children. Have some background check of the woman you want to spend your life with from the people around her without her knowing.
