THANK YOU!! I have albinism but the hair on my head is slightly darker than there's but everything else is the same. And my eyes have bit more pigment in them but I am albino and 14. So many kids at school judge me for it and I hate it. I let it get to me in Grade 7 and didn't want to go to school and tried to just hide myself but now I'm proud to show it and really don't care that im different from everyone else. I just wish i could find a best friend like that. The only difference is i colour in my eyebrows and put mascara on when i go to school because i still am not fully confident.

The only negative thing about Albinism is that their vision is affected and it makes me sad that blindness has to occur.

I used to be friends with an albino. She was one of the best friends I've ever had. Unfortunately she died of skin cancer when she was 24. She always wore special sunscreen, but you can't get everywhere all the time. Best thing I can tell you is to wear loose fitting white long sleeve clothes in the summer made of cotton. You'll thank me when you grow old.

I like how the mom said, "Instead of just *watching* them, why don't *you do* something like that?" That's a great approach to encouraging your child to do positive things they'll enjoy. It all worked out in the end too!

I've always thought that people with albinism are so beautiful and almost majestic.

As a redhead I can safely claim that being different is an awesome thing. Although Albinism and red hair are two different things I still feel like their similarities is that they're very rare. I graduated with an albino, one of the most liked guys in our grade. He always kept a girlfriend and talked to everyone. We had a couple classes together and it didn’t take long for the teachers to separate us because we were always cutting up. We kept in touch some after school but marriage, kids, and life happened. It’s been at least 15 years since I him.

A kid in my class has albinism, and he gets bullied everyday and I kinda feel bad. Like he would get picked on about where his eyebrows are, why his eyelashes are white, why he was so pale, and why his hair was practically white, etc. Some people would also spot these huge pimples and just throws stuff at him like he wasn’t human, and it bugs me. I’m glad I don’t do that kinda stuff to others, like let the kid live ya know?

I have albinism too! This was awesome to watch! I love your guys story and I hope the best for both of you. I am 17 almost 18 and through my high school years I struggled with being different. It wasn't easy standing out so much and people staring. My big piece of advice to you two is to stay strong and stay by each others side. Through the highs and the lows. You may be "different" to this world but your just like anyone else! your heads high and just embrace who you are. What matters is your inner self. Not your outward appearance. You appearance is what people judge. But if people really get to know a person they'll find that your just like everyone else.

As a 48 yr old albino American, I WISH I would have had the courage that you two have. It took me years to feel as free as I see you guys..❤ much props.

I'm so jealous of how beautiful they are!! I do feel bad because it's hard for them to see well and that they can't enjoy the sun without being covered!

I have a kid in in a couple of my classes with albinism and he is unique and the best possible way!

I can see these girls owning the cat walk. There adrogynous look is so unique and beautiful

No shade but they just look like white girls with blonde hair, I wouldn't know the difference because the mom with blonde hair didn't look much different. I think they're cute!

you have to figure in the fact that they are Paperwhite so like most white things they reflect colors around them like when they were wearing those bright jumpers they looked reddish. Plus they still have blood and it's still red so they can get flush. also their hair may be stained almost a yellowish from constant touching with their hands. skin oil and all. You have to remember they're not aliens they just don't have as much pigment as everyone else

This video is amazing it’s make me not feel ashamed oh my albinism. We all get bullied and I think it’s really stupid but people just need to see past the fact that we are born differently. I love my albinism, it makes me who I am

I have Oculocutaneous albinism as well and this just makes me sooo happy because it is soo true and I loved the way that she explained it

i hope i can get a friendship hell even a relationship as strong as y’alls it’s so beautiful to see there are people who can love another person no mater looks , past , family , bullies ETC . All my friends neglected me once i dropped out of high school before the 11th grade because my learning issues got the best of me and my health . I missed so much school and the teaches gave up on me because i wasn’t able to understand and catch on to things. Salute y’all for loving each other no matter what 💜 stay friends forever no matter

Beautiful thing to realize in this day and age that two souls were put on this earth for a reason.

I had a friend throughout middle school and highschool that had albinism. Never saw him as any different but he was also african american so he was the only one in his family to have remotely light skin. Beautiful man might i add 😍🤗

I have albinism too, OCA 1b, which means I have more pigment than some people but my skin and hair are still rly light and I can’t see well. I love meeting/learning about other people with albinism too, and knowing I’m not the only one ♥️

They look like normal people I would love to be their friend bcuz I love friends with things like this they are very special 💚💚💚💚

We had some sort of presentation thing at school, and a couple of girls from older classes joined too. I saw that one girl was especially pale, and when I looked closer I saw that she had albinism (red eyes, very pale hair and skin) I thought it was so cool, but I didn’t get a chance to talk to her and I regret it :’)
